Hazrat Abu Hurairahra relates that the Holy Prophetsa said: "Look at one who is below you and do not look at one who is above you. This will enable you to better appreciate the bounties that Allah has bestowed upon you. "

(Sahih Muslim, Kitab Al-Zuhd Wa Al-Raqaiq)

15 Years of Countless Blessings 22 April 2003 is a day of great historical importance not only in the history of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat but also in the history of Islam. It was this day that a fifth Khalifa-e-Rashed – rightly guided Khalifa – was elected to guide the Muslim Ummah. The first phase of rightly-guided Khilafat saw its end with the demise of Hazrat Alira, the fourth Khalifa of the Prophet of Islamsa. The second phase of Khilafat in the latter days was to remain forever for Al-Jamaat – the Jamaat of the true believers of the Holy Prophetsa and his Promised Messiahas. Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmadaa was elected Khalifatul Masih V – fifth Khalifa of the Promised Messiahas on this day. As to how this had happened, some violent Continued on page 2

Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmadas, In His Own Words

A Complete Transformation is Required Be careful lest a few accomplishments delude you to think that you have sufficiently fulfilled your purpose. For God desires a complete transformation in your being and He demands from you a death whereafter He should revive you. Hasten to make peace with one another and forgive your brethren their sins. For he who is not inclined to make peace with his brother is wicked

and will be cut off, because he is the cause of dissension. Part with your ego in every way and do away with mutual grievances. Be humble like the guilty, though truth be on your side, so that you may be forgiven. Do not feed your vanity, for those who are bloated cannot enter the gate to which you have been called. (Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmadas, Noah's Ark, p. 22)
