Latest New Songs Real Estate announced the release of their fourth album, In Mind, by dropping their lead single, “Darling,” with a supporting video. The album is their first without the bands founding member, Matt Mondanile, who left Real Estate to focus on his other project, Ducktails. The track starts off with really beautiful, upbeat, multi-guitar parts, setting an anticipatory tone for the record to be more musically complex than in the past.

Danish trio, Mew, released their latest single, “Carry Me to Safety,” in preparation for their new album, Visuals; the bands seventh, following 2015’s, +–. The accompanying track visuals are a clear ode to the album name, a video consisting of a standstill body from the shoulders up, with the face replaced with moving, trippy visuals. Young Fathers shared their track, “Only God Knows,” off of the soundtrack from T2: Trainspotting. The Scottish hip-hop trio is set to have six songs scoring the movie soundtrack, with this being the first release. The song carries a manic, upbeat that seems to be an appropriate choice for the type of movie we hope T2 will be. To announce his third album, Drunk, Thundercat released album track, “Show You the Way,” which features Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins. The lead single has a funky, ‘70s soul vibe to it that could presumably be an ode to the featured track artists, who Thundercat calls “one of my favorite songwriters.”
