“The sun never knew how wonderful it was,” the architect Louis Kahn said, “until it fell on the wall of a building.” (Jun’ichirō Tanizaki, In Praise of Shadows)
The present portfolio is made as a book that I like to describe as the book of my bachelor degree. It compiles every project I have made from my first to my third year in architecture school. Throughout every final drawing I’ve made, every jury I’ve passed, and every discussion I’ve had, I learned something. Drawing for days without even sleeping, reading books until I knew every single project, travelling the world and picturing it, learning from people from everywhere; architecture is not only about drawing walls, I think it is about trying to understand the world better and to change it into a place anyone could belong to.
