Fellow Cattle Producers

As 2025 draws to a close, it’s incredible to look back on how quickly the year has passed and all that it has brought. On behalf of the entire Schaack Ranch team, we are excited to welcome you to our 3rd Annual Maternal Gems Female Sale on Saturday, December 20th.

At Schaack Ranch, our focus has always been on building females that excel where it matters most. From balanced, eye-appealing phenotype to verified performance and real-world functionality, our program is centered on cattle that work—day in and day out—under the rugged demands of western South Dakota. Longevity, fertility, structural soundness, and the ability to raise a big calf while breeding back on time remain the cornerstones of our maternal philosophy.

This year’s offering is one we are especially proud of. We are bringing forward some of the most complete, productive females ever raised on the ranch—cattle that truly reflect our commitment to consistent quality and dependable maternal genetics. These are the kind of cows that build herds and enhance programs for years to come.

The relationships we’ve built within the cattle community are at the heart of our operation, and we are sincerely grateful for the trust our customers continue to place in Schaack Genetics. We are also honored to welcome respected co-signers who are contributing exceptional replacement females to this year’s sale.

With over 600 head of females on offer, this sale provides an outstanding selection. Whether your interest lies in donor-quality prospects, elite embryos, expanding your registered cow herd, securing proven maternal lines, or adding top-tier commercial replacements, you’ll find opportunities that fit your needs.

If you have any questions or would like additional information, please don’t hesitate to give us a call. We’re always happy to visit about the cattle and help in any way we can.
