Several studies of the Paris Viaduc’s were developed in order to focus on a new connection for pedestrians as well as designing a theater built into the sloping site.
By modifying the existing slope of the site, a new pedestrian pathway lifted above Eastern Avenue creates a greater connection between Highland town and Greektown. The entrance to the theater is located off this new pathway, allowing for the theater to be completely underground. Skylights, extruded columns, and the theater black box are visible from above ground, creating a park for residents of the community.
