Meet Our Team!

We are excited to start this 2024 season with almost double the amount of schools we had last year! We have all been putting up a tremendous effort to have an amazing start to the season, and it is being seen! Our hope with this issue is to celebrate everyone at our studio, not just a corporate general “good job guys”, but a genuine delve into the Austin Cady Studio.

We want to acknowledge the growth and creativity of every photographer, shoutout our SER’s who help us on a daily basis, our wonderful in house makeup artists and the amazing art they do on our Elites, and so much more!

We as the Austin Cady team want to wish a big welcome to our new employees! We also want to have a happy welcome back to our veteran's from last season! As you all know, we have only bee open 1 year previously and it is our 2nd year open Last season, all of us learned and made many mistakes to make this next season better for all of us

We are so excited to see everyone unlock their full potential as we venture further into the season and everyone gets familiar with their favorite scenes, winning photo of the month, and being celebrated every month in this feature article! Our experience at CADY was so smooth The process is easy and the employees walk you through each step Josh was great with our cap and gown photos and Alex was excellent with the yearbook and personal photos. I decided to add photos upon check in and they easily accommodated

HOW DO YOU CAPTURE PRSONALITY?

Center Stage is the perfect scene to capture more than your client! Getting our clients to be comfortable enough to show their personality is one of our Core Values to always strive for. Get creative with posing! Get more full body images get props involved let your creativity flow!

ANY DIFFICULTIES WITH POSING?

Exposure truly tests the photographers skills by being in black and white, so a pop of color wont work, and unique props sometimes look out of place in this scene How serious can you get? How silly can you get? Test your posing skills, and a great picture might just be your prize

WANT TO GET A NATURE VIBE WITHOUT THE HEAT?

Living Walls to the rescue!

With the Texas heat nearly killing us outside, we can still get a very natural vibe at living walls If the plant wall is too unnatural for the clients, we have a white wall that most parents seem to enjoy a bit more than the plants! Our unique chairs also bring a welcome pop of color to the green and white background

EMERGE

HOW TO NOT RE-USE EXPOSURE POSES:

Emerge is a fun scene to do with props! Anything really pops here, since the background puts any and all focus on your subject only Pops of color, fun personality are all welcome here! Yet you can also bring a serious vibe to e scene as well! Be careful not to re-use poses on both Exposure and Emerge! Both scenes are basically the same, so give your client a lot of variety

HOW DO YOU GET CREATIVE WITH RESTRICTIONS ON MOVEMENT?

Wonderlight restricts your clients movement and posing options since you only get the perfect lighting in the center of the scene. Get creative with different angles! Props are welcome!

CAN YOU CAPTURE SPORTS IN ACTION?

Primetime is one of THE best scenes to do sports photography It allows for freedom of movement as well, so don’t be afraid of telling our clients to do their thing!

Timing is KEY in this scene and with a few tries it also helps loosen up your client to take more natural looking photos Don’t limit yourself on this scene to only do sorts though! You can also get really good shots of people doing their hobbies, like playing the trumpet, or skate boarders.

WANT TO CAPTURE SOMETHING CLASSY?

Timeless is...well...timeless! It’s that perfect country homely vibe we all know and love

Seeing as we are in Texas, this scene is a huge hit! Make sure to always et your lighting right, since you can manipulate the light stands

You can make this scene look happy and fun, or a bit darker and more classy. Have fun on this scene there’s so much to do

SHADOW LAND

HOW DO YOU CONQUER OUR HARDEST SCENE?

Shadowland has always been a challenge at this studio, and other studios in general! There’s only a limited area that is good to take photos at that don’t completely cover our clients face with shadows. Different angles really show off the dramatics and class of this scene, and if you ’ re brave enough, you can successfully attempt to take pictures of our clients on the floor!

U T D O O R

WANNA BE A BIT MORE CREATIVE WITH YOUR OUTDOORS?

Outdoors is a great scene to do but most people stick to only taking pictures of kids leaning on trees Near the back of the studio is an area full of trees Can you make a client look like they’re in the forest? How about very dramatic looking headshots with plants for framing? You have more freedom with posing outdoors so go have fun!

Shouting out our makeup artist favorite looks!

Seeing her mom putting makeup on at her vanity was what sparked AnnaBelle’s passion for makeup. 2020 gave AnnaBelle more time to practice and experiment with makeup.
