WORK HISTORY ❑ In 2009, Aleph INDIA started Foreign Manufacturers Certification Department to assist the foreign companies and provide them high quality and effective service to get various Certification and approvals from Govt. of India. ❑ In 2013, Aleph INDIA started a CRS Department to assist the domestic & International Electronics and IT goods manufacturers to register their products (from BIS) under the norms of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY).

❑ In 2014, Aleph INDIA started Hallmarking department to assist the Jewelers to establish and operate and get recognition of assaying a hallmarkingcenter. ❑ Aleph INDIA assist the NABL Recognize Laboratories to establish, operate and get recognition from BIS as per various norms.

FOREIGN MANUFACTURERS CERTIFICATION SCHEME (ISI MARK) ▪

Foreign Manufacturers Certification Scheme (FMCS): The foreign manufacturers, who are having their factory location outside India, can apply under FMCS.

Features of FMCS different from Indian manufacturers

are as follows:

Applicant has to submit application form and other requisite documents in duplicate.

▪

All foreign manufacturers are considered as ‘Large Scale’ as per FMCS norms.

▪

The applicant have to nominate an Authorized Indian Representative(AIR) for its operation of BIS license for its group companies.

COMPULSORY REGISTRATION SCHEME-BIS REGISTRATION Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MEITY) has notified “Electronics and Information Technology Goods (Requirement for Compulsory Registration) Order, 2012″ on 3rd Oct 2012 for electronics items. Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) then registers the manufacturers under its registration scheme who are permitted to declarethat their articlesconform to the IndianStandard (s).

WIRELESS PLANNING & COORDINATION (WPC) •

Products with radio and/or wireless functionalities which are imported or manufactured and marketed in India must have an equipment type approval (ETA) certificate from the Wireless Planning and Coordination (WPC) wing of the Ministry of Communications of the government of India.

•

This includes products with Bluetooth, wireless local area network access technology (Wi-Fi), small digital radios (Zigbee), and radio frequency identification (RFID) among others.

•

We assist in testing such products as per the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI, Europe) and Federal Communications Commission (FCC, US) standards. Our authorized agents connect applicants with local representative support and assist them in obtaining ETA certification. We support you in completing the required documentation for filing an application at the WPC.

Hallmarking is the accurate determination and official recording of the proportionate content of precious metal in precious metal articles. Hallmarks are thus official marks used in many countries as a guarantee of purity or fineness of precious metal articles.

•

The principle objectives of the Hallmarking Scheme are to protect the public against adulteration and to obligate manufacturers to maintain legal standards of fineness.

•

In India, at present two precious metals namely gold and silver have been brought under the purview of Hallmarking.

The objectives of Standards & Labeling Program is to provide the consumer an informed choice about the energy saving and thereby the cost saving potential of the marketed household and other equipment.

E-WASTEMANAGEMENT

Disposal of e-wastes is a particular problem faced in many regions across the globe.

All the Indian manufacturers and importers of Electronic Products need to submit a Future Plan of the proper disposal of the Electronic-Waste in front of Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) of India as the mandatory requirement.

TEC APPROVAL •

TEC stands for Telecommunication Engineering Centre. TEC facilitates Department of Telecommunications, Government of India in drafting and implementing various standards and policies for safe and secure use of emerging technologies in telecommunications.

•

TEC had released specifications for the quality measures for the telecom equipment. These specifications can be categorized as Generic Requirements (GRs), Interface Requirements (IRs) and Service Requirements (SR).

TEC is responsible to issue various approvals such as Interface Approvals, Certificate of Approvals, Service Approvals & Type Approvals.

As per the Act, no person shall commence or carry on any food business except under a FSSAI license or FSSAI registration.

Eco-mark is issued by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) as a certification mark for the products which are ecologically safe conforming to the standards prescribed by the BIS. It helps in identifying eco-friendly products in the market & is voluntary in nature.

The mark is being issued in around 16 categories like food, medicines, chemicals, electronic goods, paper, lubricating oils, packing materials etc. The Eco-mark scheme falls under the ambit of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

MSME / SSI / NSIC REGISTRATION •

MSME stands for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise. MSME or SSI enterprises are the foundation of any economy and are an engine of economic growth, advancing impartial improvement for all.

Micro, Small and Medium sized enterprises in both the manufacturing and service sector can obtain MSME Registration or SSI/Small Scale Industry Registration under the MSMED act, MSME gov.

Although getting MSME online registration is not mandatory but it is always suggested to small and medium enterprises to get it done it provides a variety of benefits.
