Aleksandra Stepanovic —
Having spent the last 5 years working as a creative producer and project manager, I gained valuable experience, both conceptual and executional, in leading, organizing and realizing art and new media projects, in digital and physical environments.
My main points of engagement include structuring and managing teams, overseeing workflows and handling cross-department communication, but I have also been involved in early, conceptual phases of projects, for which I performed thorough research and delivered creative briefs and solutions. Working on various types of projects and taking different positions in them gave me a wide set of skills, complementing my abilities to multitask and to work efficiently in dynamic environments. Being a self-starter and a problem solver, I feel comfortable organizing and creating environments for clear communication, both personally and professionally.
Together with friends and associates, I went through the experience of co-founding and co-managing an NGO based in arts and culture. My role included dealing with legal issues, administration, overall process management and PR.
My background in art and architecture helps me manage projects with an enhanced sensibility towards aesthetics, culture and contemporary trends, which I find especially important in contexts of creative decision-making.

As part of my work with LOWKEYMOVES, had the opportunity to contribute to the development of four unique Digital Humans from scratch. Each of these characters had their own distinct narrative and personality, which required us to carefully craft a concept for each one and develop the necessary content to bring them to life.

Monument of the Pioneers Orrery
The purpose of this exhibit is to showcase the holistic approach to space expansion by reinforcing a sense of sacrifice and community. The sculpture is a physical, mechanical model of the solar system featuring multiple globes and discs representing planets and their orbits.
The sculpture’s functionality within the OSS HOPE PIONEER CENTER context also aims to support the idea that science and spirituality can coexist in space. Portrayed as a donation by the UAESA to the OSS HOPE PIONEER PROGRAM, the sculpture is inspired by Islamic astronomical tools used hundreds of years ago to calculate Mecca’s direction for prayers. The expansion of humanity to new planets brings with it the proliferation of religious faith - the futuristic astrolabe is a symbol of the intention to maintain this practice in the future.

A heavily altered Dubai skyline features entirely new architecture, such as levitating structures and squares, drone skyscrapers, and organic structures that are grown rather than built. The complex urban plan features extensive interconnectedness, with automated and airborne vehicles signaling robust city activity. Strategically positioned Hero structures catch people’s attention and highlight the best of Dubai’s ambitionsthus representing the values upon which the city was built, as a sustainable, smart city for all.
Large-scale changes to the landscape and skyline provisioned by the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, an outline of how the emirate will be developed over the next 20 years, are accounted for. Mainly, the plan sets out to improve the quality of life, with the doubling of green and leisure areas, in addition to public parks, to create more areas where people can exercise.

HUMANS 2.0 World Government Summit Dubai —’19
Inspired by the latest scientific breakthroughs and leading futurist projections HUMANS 2.0 imagines a future in which we already solved the scientific problems we are yet to solve and developed the technologies now only theoretically possible. Focused on the individual body and mind, elements extracted from a larger vision of the future invite you to explore how this latest era of advance will benefit the individual person.
The exhibition is divided into four sections, each further away in time than the previous, providing uninterrupted narrative flow along a rudimentary timeline into the future as it relates to the individual person and to humanity as a whole. Advance is envisioned to happen in four key stages titled BETA BODY, BETA MIND, META BODY, and META MIND.

Because of this, we give you chains: a symbol of security and of giving up control for others to deal with, because chains (short or long) have their physical limitations, a distance to which they go. We have no reference to predict the fascinating consequences of an individual’s ability to shift consciousness to other forms. Those experiences are simply unimaginable to us today. However, what we can suppose is that, inevitably, technology enabling the transfer of consciousness would gather extensive datasets that reflect the conscious knowledge, beliefs, ideas and experiences of billions of individuals.
Having access to such data would mean an unprecedented opportunity to create something that has potential to be a uniquely unifying force for humanity - the creation of a collective sentience embodied in a single form. Imagining such a unique hive-mind, linking our consciousnesses, continuously growing, learning and developing alongside us, - UN1TY is a conceptual embodiment of such a synthetic sentience, the first step towards Humanity 3.0.

How much the world has changed since then is impossible to tell in descriptive terms.
We could make a graph measuring the CO2 and sea levels in 1995 and 2020, but numbers quickly get lost and insignificant and are easily forgotten.
What we can talk about in this exhibition text is how Pam was chased around and sought after long before Instagram, before the Kardashians and Paris Hilton. She was the top tabloid story at the time, having had a turbulent love life, a sex tape, a bomb body and a hep C diagnosis. The roles she had in various films and series all indicated that she was, on and off screen, basically the same person - a hot blonde.

But Pam knew that all attention can be used and diverted, and she did to her stories what her paparazzi had done to her. Selflessly, at the center of everyone’s interest, she applied the method of self-exploitation. She surrendered willingly, so that in the end, nobody could conquer her. She surrendered her body to the world, on her own terms. The terms were that, while her pictures, stories, boobs, hair, tats and love interests circulated the Internet and press, she would be talking about the stuff she cared about, which was: save the planet.

People used to make fun of Miss World laureates whose biggest wish in life was world peace. Is this really that funny? Is it funny because it’s said by a beautiful woman, or is it funny because it sounds impossible? Or does it sound impossible because it is being wished for by a beautiful woman?

Now that we speak of the world ending in numbers and graphs and units of time, and not in abstract terms anymore, we might need to lend our own bodies to accomplish a new awareness. And now that so many bodies are gorgeous and erotic, naked and blunt everywhere, and every day online, maybe there’s nothing else left for us to think about than the world itself, world peace, world survival, trees, oceans and whales. There might be more boobs than whales in the world anyway, but we’re not here to talk about numbers. There’s no time, the world is sinking.

Let’s put words and objects into a system where one can replace the other. For example: This is an image displaying a bridge whose length matches that of your footstep. In the lack of imagery, words can be everything and anything, concrete terms represent abstract forms. Forms know something and they direct us to meaning, like portals, standing silently one across the other. So we attach our emotions to forms, otherwise we wouldn’t know what to do with them. Things become clear only when given names, up until then they’re mushy, up until then, there’s no boundaries. There is endless projection, a chain reaction: when an object acquires more than one meaning and starts spilling over onto other things. One color mixes with another, metal with cotton, a regular word with a metaphor.

Kristina Nikolić belongs to a generation of artists who treat concepts and art-making as parallel processes, whose art begins before the idea is conceived, through a fascination with visual and verbal phenomena. This kind of art is not concerned with succeeding, as its intentions are often shaped after an artwork has already been materialized. Its identity lingers between formalism (the contemporary aesthetics of the casual, the instant, the weird, the other, the obscure) and concept, going back and forth, just like the term chain shifts between two semantic groups, security and imprisonment, corelation and co-dependence.
