Orbital Space Station H.O.P.E.
OSS Hope model is made in 1:400 proportion to its fictional counterpart.

The 4-meter wide model, weighing 1 tonne, is suspended from the ceiling.
The model is made of aluminum sub-construction with a 3D printed shell assembled from a staggering 3000 parts, all handpainted.
OSS Hope model is fitted with electronics that rotate the rings simulating the speeds needed to create artificial gravity.

Monument of the Pioneers Orrery
The purpose of this exhibit is to showcase the holistic approach to space expansion by reinforcing a sense of sacrifice and community. The sculpture is a physical, mechanical model of the solar system featuring multiple globes and discs representing planets and their orbits.
The sculpture’s functionality within the OSS HOPE PIONEER CENTER context also aims to support the idea that science and spirituality can coexist in space. Portrayed as a donation by the UAESA to the OSS HOPE PIONEER PROGRAM, the sculpture is inspired by Islamic astronomical tools used hundreds of years ago to calculate Mecca’s direction for prayers. The expansion of humanity to new planets brings with it the proliferation of religious faith - the futuristic astrolabe is a symbol of the intention to maintain this practice in the future.

Monument of the Pioneers Orrery
With a diameter of 3 meters, the Monument to the Pioneers is the biggest moving orrery in the world.

Each planet is made through a months-long unique artisan method that involves obtaining colors using a specific chemical process. All the gold engravings on black are handpainted. An electronic mechanism inside the orrery propels the planets in a seamless motion and allows for the programming of their relative positions and speeds.

Command Station Area
A space for the visitor to explore what roles and technologies are aboard on Hope, to dive into the Sol System’s workings and to explore the tools and artefacts of daily life that support the Pioneer Conversations. The Sol Station shows the scale of effort in details. The Gear Station provides a glimpse of future speculative tech and the Pioneer artefacts wall helps the recorded characters show artefacts, displaying a daily and more human experience of living in space.
Artisanal interventions ranged from hand painting to casting and often required custom techniques to bring a design to life.
Many artifacts are fitted with electronics, such as foldable and round screens.

Command Station Gear

Gear Station showcases physical artefacts on top of it, with corollary information on the underneath screen. These objects are representing the 8 key Pioneer profession and jobs. Visitors can understand what the pioneers use as part of their job and discover new speculative technologies.

Dubai 2071

A heavily altered Dubai skyline features entirely new architecture, such as levitating structures and squares, drone skyscrapers, and organic structures that are grown rather than built. The complex urban plan features extensive interconnectedness, with automated and airborne vehicles signaling robust city activity. Strategically positioned Hero structures catch people’s attention and highlight the best of Dubai’s ambitionsthus representing the values upon which the city was built, as a sustainable, smart city for all.
Large-scale changes to the landscape and skyline provisioned by the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, an outline of how the emirate will be developed over the next 20 years, are accounted for. Mainly, the plan sets out to improve the quality of life, with the doubling of green and leisure areas, in addition to public parks, to create more areas where people can exercise.
