Casual team members can convert to part-time or full-time team members at any time if Branded Group and the team member agree.

If you have worked as a casual team member with us for 12 months or more, your roster is regular and ongoing, and your award or industrial agreement allows that you could continue to perform the pattern of hours under the full-time or part-time provisions of your award or agreement, then you can request to be converted to permanent employment.

You need to make your request in writing using the Request for Casual to Permanent Form to make sure that we take all factors into account.

We will discuss your application with you and will review your request. We will not unreasonably refuse your request unless:

● it would require a significant adjustment to your hours of work to accommodate you in part-time or full-time employment in accordance with the terms of the applicable modern award, or;

● it is known or reasonably foreseeable that your position will cease to exist within the next 12 months; or

● it is known or reasonably foreseeable that your hours of work will significantly be reduced within the next 12 months; or

● it is known or reasonably foreseeable that there will be a significant change in the days and/or times at which your hours of work are required to be performed in the next 12 months which cannot be accommodated within the days and/or hours during which you are available to work.

We will let you know in writing of our decision within 21 days of your request.
