Alex City: KFC (Kids for Christ) have been very busy this month in their work for the Lord.

On April 19th, they were honored with an Easter egg hunt at the church. Easter morning they presented an outstanding drama and for the evening service they did an awesome Easter program. The church is very proud and blessed to have such great children.

Keshia and Justin Peters are the leaders and Justin wrote the Easter program. Thank God for such wonderful leaders.

Aliceville: We had a wonderful Easter service.

Brother Pate was able to preach for the first time in 4 weeks. He was able to stand the whole time. His message was on “A Risen Savior” and it was great.

Aren’t we glad to know we serve a risen Savior.

Continue to pray for Brother Pate as he continues rehab to strengthen that knee.

A n ni s ton -Prai s e & Worship: The Lord was with us at Anniston. We celebrated Communion together and worshiped the Living Christ. The sermon text was Revelation 1:18 entitled “He’s Alive!” Wonderful anointing of God. We had a record attendance of 108. “All glory to Him who was dead but is alive forevermore!”

Boldo: We had a wonderful Easter Sunday with over 60 in

attendance. Pastor Hitt brought the message to us in a live drama by using the Children’s Church in his message. They acted out the message, also, three songs “Break Every Chain” by Tasha Cobb.

We had one to receive salvation that morning.

What a rejoicing time everyone had.

Browntown: We celebrated ‘family’ several services with lunch following. The 12th, we had an Easter party and egg hunt with the theme: “It’s All About The Son”.

Easter morning, we rose early for our Sunrise Service, Communion service at the home of Mike Nappier followed with Easter service with special song and video by the children. The end of month was ‘revival time’ with Chad Smith.

Calera-Harvest Chapel: The past few weeks at Harvest Chapel has been very exciting! Starting with the week of Easter, we were blessed with

about 120 in attendance and nice confessions of salvation! The Sunday after Easter, we celebrated with Communion and many lives were touched.

May 4, was a special day with a baby dedication along with a family of six making their commitment and joining Harvest Chapel. And, of course, May 11 was Mother’s Day. We honored each mother in attendance with roses. We also recognized the oldest mother, the youngest mother and the mother with the most children. We are looking forward to what the Lord has in store for us over the coming days, weeks and months. He is blessing lives, homes, and our church family. At Harvest Chapel, we are moving forward for the Lord!

Chickasaw: We celebrated with Communion and Washing the Saints Feet. So many churches today only take the Communion part. We are thankful we believe

and practice both.

Such a sweet presence of the Lord for this service.

Our Resurrection Service was wonderful as the Spirit led in the morning (10:00) song service.

The Holy Ghost blessed. Our pastor preached and the altar filled with hearts seeking God for more of Him and less of us. At 11:00 a.m. we had our Sunday School time. It’s great to let go and let God have His way.

We were privileged to have Tony Wolf, a Christian Comedian. He has performed in 46 states and several countries. The “Braking Chains” led us in worship.

T o ny’s testimony of Christ touched us all.

We laughed and cried, what a blessing! We had several days of work at the church to get everything in tip top shape. For lunch we had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and some home made peanut butter cookies. Pray we will continue to work for the Lord and His Kingdom.

Collin s vi l l e-H a rv es t Center: We had a wonderful Maundy Thursday service. It was a tenebrae service so we were intentional in setting the mood to be quite somber and reflective as the church moved towards Good Friday and the silence of Saturday. We used drama, music and a

special candle light service to help our people connect to the deep emotions of the last hours of Jesus’ life. The people said they were very blessed. Our worship Easter set the stage for a Resurrection Celebration.

The Lord moved powerfully. The Word that was delivered was strong about saying “Yes To The Resurrection”.

Eastlake Highlands: We had our first District Men Fellowship with 38 men in attendance with great fellowship. The Women’ Ministry provided our fellowship meal.

Everything was great! We were blessed. We had a great Easter service with God’s presence and 78 in attendance. The best of all, 5 souls were saved.

To God be the glory.

Elba: The presence of our Risen Savior was present with us Sunday from the time we entered the church until the Communion and Feet Washing in the afternoon.

During our 21 day fast, several of our church families had the Lord move in answer to prayers they had prayed for a long time. From a niece that was protected from a lightning strike, (within two feet of her), to a relative of the same family that was pronounced clinically dead and he was revived and has already been released from the hospital. A father with a

son bound by drink, the son suddenly calls up dad (sober) and invites him out for a meal. The two families (father and son) have a good time together in answer to prayer.

Another member has had her family ( of four) join her in our services. They all came up to re-dedicate their life to Christ. We were blessed to have Brother and Sister Weber from the Lighthouse Church in Opp with us in the afternoon service and joined us for Communion and Feet washing. They were a blessing in song and a mini “spirited” sermon. The Holy Spirit ministered through songs and the Word.

How wonderful it is to be in the presence of the Lord.

Please help us pray for this young man that overdosed. His name is Rance.

Fayette-North Pointe: North Pointe, praises God for another soul saved and five new members. God i s m ovi ng in our community.

We all enjoyed a time for fellowship at the park Easter weekend with a cookout and egg hunt for the children.

Easter Sunday was a celebration of Jesus’ Resurrection Story with the youth giving a drama. We also had a baby dedication for Miss Hadley Holliman and one new member that day. Praise be to God! Goodwater-Joyful

Praise: Joyful Praise Dancer’s Anniversary was held on April 19th. First anniversary for the praise dancer’s team. It was a wonderful day of outreach ministry for the church and a great turnout for the youth.

Greenpond: He arose!

He arose!

Hallelujah Christ arose! Resurrection morning the Spirit of God was in our midst. The youth and children’s ministry presented a wonderful Easter program.

The church was filled with fami lies worshiping together. The children enjoyed an egg hunt and games.

Hotdogs and refreshments were served.

We praise God for our children. Ladies Day was a blessing. Judy Smith spoke on the “Submissive Will Of God”.

She encouraged the ladies to submit to the will of God even when they didn’t understand the direction God was taking them.

The painting of the church sanctuary and Sunday School rooms are completed. New carpet has been installed and tile has been replaced in the kitchen. We offer thanks first to God and everyone who made this project a great success. The church is beautiful.

Hackleburg: Easter Sunday was 308 in attendance and 7 saved.

Haleyville-Path w ay: Great Easter service at Pathway. We had around

100 in attendance and most of all there was 3 souls saved and the altars were full.

God truly blessed and poured out His Spirit upon us. Last night’s service was glorious as well. From the time we opened service until the end, God was pouring out His Spirit and blessing His people. Our youth filled the altars crying out to God and praying for revival! And what a revival we had!

Instead of going for three nights, we continued on.

God poured His Spirit out on us.

Jasper-Airport Road: God is truly blessing the Airport Road Church. We have seen an increase in church attendance and one person get saved. We had a wonderful Easter program with God’s presence moving among us. We are thanking Him for what He has done and looking forward to what He is going to do.

Leesburg: Easter Sunday servi ce i ncl u ded a wonderful presentation by our drama team, the children’s ministries singing, and Pastor Tim’s sermon.

Immediately following the morning service, there was an egg hunt for all the children with prizes awarded to all of them. We had over 135 people in attendance.

Odenville: We thank God for 101 Easter Sunday!

Parrish: Parrish youth group “United” under the

direction of Amanda (Prescott) Harrington, who worked very hard for several weeks to present the Easter program and it showed. There was a presence of God in each drama they performed and the youth were blessed as much as the congregation.

Earlier, they had gathered at Brother Jon and Jennifer Pate’s home to watch the Passion of the Christ. Many of them said it made such a difference in the way they felt about Easter. They are receiving invitations to participate in other churches youth activities and are excited about that.

We are blessed with some of the most humble, dedicated young people. We were honored to have Sister Earlean Emerson the prior Sunday to give her testimony. One of her great granddaughters and grandson-in-law rededicated their lives and we are blessed to have them with us now. We are expecting more great blessings of God in weeks to come!

Pelham: Pelham experienced a day filled with the presence of the Lord and an attendance of 58.

Poarch: Easter Sunday attendance was 20.

Short Creek: Work is underway!

We have replaced the heating and air unit at the church, roofed the parsonage and as soon as the weather

permits, the parking area around the church will be paved. There has been a lot of sickness and we lost a very precious sister-inthe-Lord , Doris Pate (Mother of lay-minister Judy Pate). She will be greatly missed at the local church.

The Ladies Ministry enjoyed a wonderful “Easter Hat Extravaganza” on the Saturday before Easter.

On the following Tuesday, we enjoyed a “Seniors Easter Luncheon” and Saturday the yearly Easter egg hunt with the children.

Tarrant: Jesus truly poured out His blessings on us this month. The children had lunch with the Easter bunny, we participated in our Community Easter Egg Hunt, watched “The Passion of Christ”, and attended the Community Easter Sunrise Service and ended the day with a wonderful Easter service.

Our attendance was 70.

We would like to thank the Pinson Valley Church for inviting us to join them in “Maundy Thursday” where we honored our Lord in Communion and Feet Washing. “God is good all the time, all the time God is good.”

Trinity: As the music began, the singing began, there was anticipation coming from all who entered into the sanctuary.

There were our regulars,

new people, and those who come from time to time. But the greatest of all, our Lord was there, not as a crucified Lord, but, as a Risen Savior with victory over death, hell, and the grave! Worship, praising, with the altar filled during invitation.

One lady came up for prayer and has been having problems said when leaving, “I feel the power of God all over me!” This is what it is all about. Attendance was around 120 with several of our regulars out with sickness. Thank God for His presence.

Twilleytown: Saturday night and Sunday morning, Easter, the glory of God was in our building.

The Youth Department with the direction of our pastor’s wife, Sister Stanton, put on the Easter play”Journey to the Cross”. Average attendance was 200.

Easter Sunday record attendance of 250.

Presence of the Lord filled the church while tears were flowing. There were 8 that gave their hearts to God. Some of those saved were fathers of our young people, whom they had been praying for, for a long time.

What a touching site to see these families come together in prayer. Exciting days at Twilleytown!! Looking forward for great things.

We are serving a big God who does Big, Big things.

Winfield City Family Church: We had a great Easter with dramas put on by both youth and children. God is so good to us. After morning service, we all enjoyed Easter dinner downstairs whi l e the ch i l d ren participated in an Easter egg hunt. Psalms 122:1 I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord!

Holy Ghost Filled Prison Revival!

Eddie Mitchell I think we had 53 in service Saturday night inside that little prison chapel and the power of God fell in that place like you can’t imagine! God had been preparing me for Spiritual W arfare and H e had intercessors on the inside praying and preparing too. W e prayed over intercessors, we prayed over worship teams, we prayed for healing, we prayed against curses and bondage over family members, we laid hands on men in wheel chairs, men who can’t talk, men who can’t hear, we had men who were brand new to church and prayer, coming up asking to be prayed for healing and for a new life!

Then all the men asked if they could pray for me and my family! I had brothers in white all around me crying out to God, interceding for healing for me and my family, speaking in to ngue s a ll a ro u n d m e , shouting, jumping, shaking, singing, crying! It’s like the whole place was flooded with the Holy Ghost!

It was absolutely one of the most powerful services I’ve ever been in ANYW HERE! As I described it to one man, “God turned us all upside down, inside out, and upside right again.” So thankful that a fence can’t keep God out, even if it Continued next page PRISON-
