What is the difference between a Customised Photobook and School Yearbooks?

Traditionally,

the only cost effective way for every child to have a

school yearbook was to compile some of the school’s activities and print them out in hundreds of copies. The most common complaint from parents is that while there may be many photos inside the yearbook, there may only be a few photos of their child. Due to the sheer volume of students, schools face the nearly impossible task of trying to ensure everyone is represented equally and the result is every child having only 3 or 4 photos.

After initial consultations with the school, we will schedule time slots for on-site photography with professional studio lighting equipment for group and individual shots. All the photos in the book are optimised for color & contrast, printed on archival grade acid-free paper. Every page is then further protected with gloss laminate on both sides to protect it from the elements, making it water proof and scratch resistant. They are then bounded with our latest computerised bindery that ensures the pages are held tightly together and will not fall out over time.
