NEWS Edition 2 – March 2021
Celebrating our connection with Lemnos On Thursday 25 March, we acknowledged the 200th anniversary of Greek National Day. We celebrated with food, music, trivia, and language lessons. We also met with our sister school, the Highschool of Moudros, Lemnos, to share history and culture. A highlight was the appearance in our zoom meeting of the Greek Minister for Education. Keep an eye out on our Instagram page for an APCTV episode showing all the festivities of the day.
Work Experience Program: calling all parents and business owners! Last year our year 10 students missed out on work experience, which means they now have the chance to do it as part of year 11. Work experience 2021 will take place from 29 November to 3 December, or during school holidays, and we need parents and the local community to help out. If your workplace is interested in taking on a work experience student or would like more information about what’s involved, please contact the Careers Advisor and Work Experience coordinator Jessica Archer via email jessicaarcher@albertparkcollege.vic.edu.au Your support will be greatly appreciated.
