I have been the Operations Manager with Community Education since 2016, but I have been part of District #241 all my life. My husband, my three sons and myself all graduated from Albert Lea school district. The formal days of education are past and we are in different phases of life. However, I am grateful that when time allows, we live in a community that offers numerous opportunities for us to continue to gather, discover and grow.
I have been the Marketing Specialist with Albert Lea Community Education since 2019. I love designing Community Ed and Early Learning's seasonal books that mail out three times a year. I run our social media pages and search for instructors to share their passions with the community. Community Education is important because it allows people to experience new opportunities and resources for lifelong learning.
I began this position in 2011. My role is to ensure adults have the skills necessary to succeed at home, work, and their community. I feel very fortunate to have a job where I love coming to work every day. Community Education is important to me because lifelong learning is essential to improving lives and our community.
I am a Coordinator of Early Learning and Director of Tiger Cub Child Care. My administrative goal is to provide child care for the youngest, inclusive experiences for preschoolers, and building partnerships with families through their parent journey. Community Ed is a place to bring residents of Albert Lea area together. It's an organization to try new things, meet people, and explore strengths. We would love if you come play, learn, and grow with us!

The man who made it happen was the "Father of Rock'n'Roll," Sam Phillips, who discovered them all. This was the only occasion the four legends-to-be played together, and it has come to be known as one of the greatest rock jam sessions of all time.

We’ll discuss concrete solutions (not tricks, not using your will power) for controlling appetite and cravings; simple things you can do every day to boost your metabolism; major sources of hormone mimicking chemicals and how to get rid of them; what HRT or birth control pills have to do with weight gain; how to have your hormone levels checked reliably; what steps need to be taken to safely break the vicious cycle of hormone related weight gain.

Have you ever found that in the a.m. your pants fit fine but by mid-afternoon, the waistband squeezes you like a tourniquet? Or that no matter how many crunches you do, your stomach still hangs out? Getting rid of a potbelly is much more than just doing abdominal exercises. In this workshop, you will learn the main causes and 6 strategies for getting rid of belly bloat. We will do a few exercises designed to strengthen the deepest layer of abdominal muscle - the layer that is responsible for flattening your stomach, shaping your waistline, and supporting your lower back. And we will do this without getting on the floor.

Social Club Simple was created to help solve a need between technology and the user experience with social media. Before I stumbled upon this passion, I first started helping out my family members with questions on how to use social media. Next, I started volunteering at a local senior apartment housing complex and kept answering the same questions over and over while loving every minute of it! Seriously, it was so much fun!
Social media has the power to connect and I’ve seen what the positive benefits are for seniors who are unable to drive or may have family members and friends who live far away. Our mission at Social Club Simple is to make social media easy to understand and use so that seniors are able to stay connected to their loved ones.
