Amazon’s dominant strengths are their low cost design, largest product selection, an enormous number of third party sellers, and the teamwork between market place, Amazon web services, and prime. The company weaknesses are losing its strategic ad edge to start new ventures while moving away from its core competence, losing surplus and not being able to enhance cost due to free shipping offers, and operates in near zero limit business model that have dented its profitability (MSG, 2017).
