REPORT OF GIFTS – 2021 –

OUR MISSION Albany Law School educates and empowers tomorrow’s leaders, engaged professionals, committed public servants, inspiring community change-agents, and creative problem solvers.

We connect the classroom to the profession, government, and the community through experiencebased learning, engaged scholarship, and a robust network of alumni and supporters. Our students develop a sophisticated understanding of legal policy and doctrine, a broad range of professional competencies, and a deep commitment to justice and ethical values.

Thanks to your generosity, Albany Law School closed the most successful fundraising effort in its 170-year history on June 30 raising $33 million towards We Rise Together: The Campaign for Albany Law School. Nearly 3,000 individuals and 60 businesses contributed to Albany Law School to help our students succeed.

• A $15 million anonymous gift to endow The Justice Center • A $1.8 million anonymous gift to support student scholarship • A $1 million gift to establish a fund for innovation and entrepreneurship • Significant growth in giving to the annual fund which is now

• Funding for 10 new scholarships and endowed funds • Gifts to create a new Barrister Student Scholarship Program • A $250,000 endowment to establish a Women’s Leadership Initiative • Growth in support for the Helen Wilkinson Student Emergency Fund

which has been used for COVID-19-related student relief
