Orientation event The orientation day for the Executive MBA Program students took place on November 1, at Vorres Museum of Folk and Modern Greek Art. The event was very successful and was received by the students with great enthusiasm.

The museum tour was conducted by Mr. Anastasios Vorres and Professor Manos Stefanidis of the University of Athens.

Prof. Om Narasimhan in class

Customer Insights & Marketing Management , with Prof. Om Narasimhan, London School of Economics Dr. Narasimhan is a Professor of Marketing in the Department of Management at London School of Economics. His research on entrepreneurship in emerging markets, innovation, pricing strategy, and channels of distribution has appeared in the most prestigious marketing journals. During his course on February 28th and March 1st, our students explored how to develop powerful customer insights as a basis for creating, delivering and capturing customer value. They also enhanced their marketing decision-making skills in segmenting, targeting markets as well as developing powerful brand positioning.

Having lived and studied in many organizations and countries I can say with certainty that ALBA is an outstanding studying environment, with many added value services, which make our experiences and learning much easier and help us bring better results.

The Ethical Organization, Prof. Richard Nielsen, Boston College Prof. Nielsen is The Aristides Daskalopoulos Endowed Professor in Business Ethics at ALBA and Professor of Organization Studies at Wallace E. Carroll School of Management, Boston College, USA. He works in the areas of ethics engagement, change, and leadership methods that are more and less appropriate for different types of politicaleconomic environments. He is serving as Past President and Board of Directors Member of the Society for Business Ethics. In addition, he has served as Senior Editor for Ethics and Social Responsibility related articles of Organization Studies, the journal of the European Group for Organizational Studies and on the Editorial Board of Business Ethics Quarterly, the journal of the Society for Business Ethics. He has been one of the first professors at ALBA Graduate Business School and our collaboration counts more than twenty years. During his course on February 14th and 15th , our students focused on methods managers can use individually and together in addressing ethics and social responsibility issues and in helping to build and maintain ethical and socially responsible organizations in various types of environments and realities.
