Description Arctic wolves are endangered. They are carnivores and mammals.Their lifespan is six to eight years.Their tail size is 13 to 20 inches. They weigh 40 to 175 lbs. They are also size of a six foot man (two meters).Their group name is pack and its scientific name is canis lupus. Habitat Wild Arctic wolves live in Alaska. They have feet that can cling to the ice so they don't slip. With those kind of feet they get a better hold of the ice and their hair helps their feet stay warm. Also Greenland and Canada have Arctic wolves too. But there is a lot more in Alaska than Greenland and Canada.

Why they are endangered? Arctic wolves are endangered because hunters hunt them for their skin and fur. That’s because their fur is super soft and extremely warm. Solutions We can save them by not killing them for a long time and letting them populate lots more. Also you can make an endangered animals club and tell other people to join and take care of the animals. Last, we can put posters on trees that say, “ Don't hurt or kill Arctic wolves.”

If Arctic Wolves Were Extinct If Arctic wolves were extinct the amount of their prey will increase like Arctic hares. There will be too many Arctic hares. Also their predators will decrease because that’s one thing that their predators can't eat anymore.Their prey will increase because then they won't get eaten anymore by Arctic wolves. .
