Deluxe Hotel Stays John Hall’s Alaska includes overnights at oceanfront properties that offer beach amenities, but also luxurious room amenities. Resorts will give you access to multiple included and optional activities to enjoy during “Hanging Loose” or free days on the itinerary.

Flexible Style Dining Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included every day that you travel with John Hall’s Alaska. We hand select (and taste test) culinary adventures that combine home cooked meals with finer fare. When the location allows, we offer flexible style dining options giving you the freedom to select from several dining establishments and from the entire menu. Complimentary beverages provided at breakfast, lunch and dinner will include unlimited water, coffee, iced tea and lemonade. Most dinners will include one welcome cocktail, either a house specialty or a beer/wine choice. Additional beverage orders, including specialty coffee, will be the responsibility of the guest and may be paid by credit card or with cash.

Your first experience of “Aloha” begins with your arrival at the Honolulu International Airport, where you will be met with a traditional flower lei.

Transfer to the Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa. Dinner is at your leisure in any of the hotel’s restaurants. Relax and enjoy your surroundings! Dinner

Witness the north shore, big wave beaches of Pipeline and Waimea Bay! Arriving at the Polynesian Cultural Center, walk through the seven different cultures of Polynesia. Dinner will be a Polynesian prime rib feast followed by the most spectacular cultural show on the islands, “Hā: Breath of Life”. All Meals

Pearl Harbor Memorials

Visit Pearl Harbor and remember WWII heroes today. First, visit the USS Arizona Memorial which marks the resting place of 1,102 of the 1,177 soldiers and sailors killed on the USS Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Enjoy lunch at your leisure then join a docent guided walking tour of the USS Battleship Missouri. Stand on the surrender deck where General MacArthur signed the treaty to end WWII in Tokyo Bay. Return to the Hyatt Regency for dinner. All Meals

Shores, Honolulu, 3 Eastern & Iolani Palace

Tour Oahu’s eastern shoreline this morning, full of lush tropical rain forests, rocky cliffs, and incredible views of the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy lunch at Gordon Biersch, a restaurant known for its waterfront views, island music, and its spirit of “Aloha”. Then, continue with a full city tour of Honolulu including the National Cemetery of the Pacific, the Governor’s Mansion, the state capitol building, Chinatown, and the King Kamehameha statue. Finish with a visit to the Iolani Palace, the only royal palace on American soil. This evening, dine in a beach front setting. All Meals

Fly to the garden isle of Kauai this morning. Upon arrival, take a leisurely cruise down the Wailua River to the botanical beauty of the Fern Grotto. View one of Hawaii’s most beautiful waterfalls, “Opaekaa”, then visit the Kōloa Rum Company’s tasting room and experience their award-winning spirits. Next, board a narrated train tour of the historic Kilohana sugar plantation. Dine at celebrated Gaylord’s restaurant before an overnight at the Grand Hyatt hotel.

6 Waimea Canyon

Today is your chance to see Waimea Canyon, nicknamed “The Grand Canyon of the Pacific” by Mark Twain. You’ll be given a visual and verbal history along the way – Old Koloa Town, heart of Hawaii’s first sugar cane plantation, and Waimea, the little town that grew up where Captain Cook first set foot in Hawaii in 1778. Arriving at the 3,400 foot level overlook, you will experience an unsurpassed 360 degree panoramic view of this geological wonder. The afternoon is free for relaxation at the resort.

Hawaii & Volcanoes National Park

After a short flight to the largest island, Hawaii, spend the entire day exploring, beginning with a trip to Volcanoes National Park. Learn about Hawaii’s active volcanoes and see their features throughout the park. Whether gazing at a lava tube, steam bluff, or waterfall, your guide will provide fascinating insights into the island’s rich geology, history and culture. Check in at the Hilton Waikoloa Beach Resort late this afternoon. Tonight you will enjoy Euro Asian inspired cuisine at Roy’s. All Meals

Coffee 10 Kona & Chocolate Factory

Begin with a visit to the Holualoa Kona Coffee Company, where the process of coffee production from seed to cup can be witnessed while you sample as you go. Next it’s on to the Original Hawaiian Chocolate Factory, to see the farm and experience the process of chocolate production from seed to bar. Finish off the day by taking a trip to the Kona Brewing Company for a tour of the factory where they brew some of Hawaii’s most recognized beers. Return to your hotel after lunch for free time and dinner.

Maui, Iao Valley & Lahaina

Take a quick flight to Maui this morning. From the airport, descend into the Iao Valley where tropical plants, waterfalls, and swimming holes accentuate this tropical rain forest. The final stop of the day is the historic town of Lahaina, an old whaling seaport, before checking into your hotel. This evening, relax at the Hyatt Regency with dinner at the resort. All Meals

Travel to the very crest of Haleakala Volcano, 10,000 feet above sea level! This volcano is Maui’s “House of the Sun”, with a moon-like crater the size of Manhattan and spectacular views of the island. This evening, enjoy the world famous Feast at Lele, which takes visitors through seven different islands through a luau. Return to the Hyatt Regency for another overnight. 3 Lanai Exploration

Late morning, take a private catamaran on a scenic trip from Maui to Lanai. Look for marine wildlife along the way and enjoy lunch on board. Once in Lanai, spend the next few hours exploring quaint Lanai City, including Shipwreck Beach. 3 Kona & Embarkation

Relax this morning then travel to downtown Kona for lunch and free time before boarding your luxury cruise vessel, the Safari Explorer, awaiting dockside at Kawaihae Harbor. Set sail and enjoy the sunset before dropping anchor for the evening. All Meals

Puu Waawaa State Wildlife Sanctuary

You’re off to Puu Waawaa State Wildlife Sanctuary where you and a local naturalist climb the trails above the Kona coast. How will you explore? Head 6,000 feet up Hualalai Volcano on a long hike up the cool and misty slopes, complete with natural history interpretation. Hike through dry-land native forest and past lava tubes, and peer into a pit crater from its edge (if you’re up for it, you can even go inside a lava tube). A shorter option boasts views of craters, fissures, and lava tubes. Recharge and fuel up with lunch at a coffee plantation on the mountain.

Kona National Historic Parks

Pu’uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park offers a morning of snorkeling filled with corals, sponges, tropical fishes. Or, explore the rugged coastline on a skiff ride. Round out your day at Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park. Visit with the ranger, hike the trail to petroglyphs, or check out the Kaloko fish pond and remnants of the Aiopio fish trap. Lanai Coastline

Gear up for a day of play on the “Private Island.” Thousand foot sea cliffs line the shore and ancient volcanic plugs sit both above and below the water’s surface as host to a wide diversity of marine life. Grab a snorkel, paddle board, or kayak and get in it. Take a stroll to Sweetheart Rock, a sea stack jutting 80 feet above the crashing surf, and discover the legend of the princess Puu Pehe. Learn about the island’s plantation days with a visit to the quaint Lanai Culture and Heritage Center.

Molokai

A warm Aloha spirit gives you a sense of Hawaii long ago. “Talk story” with locals and experience their land and traditions as few visitors ever do. You’ll hear legends and lore, then take in a cultural lesson in taro patches and poi making, or hike to a towering waterfall in Halawa’s cathedral valley— one of the island’s most historic places.

At the Molokai Museum, discover the history of this ancient homeland as you enjoy an evening pa’ina (feast), complete with a home-style Hawaiian jam session.

Airlines stipulate that checked luggage should not exceed 50 pounds. Carry-ons should be manageable and fit in the overhead storage compartments of airplanes and motorcoaches.

Making A Reservation To confirm your reservation, please send a deposit of $1000.00 USD per person within ten days of your reservation. To reserve your space by credit card, please contact our office: 800.325.2270. Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express and personal checks are acceptable forms of deposit payment.

A discount of $300 USD per person will be extended for those paying their tour balance by cash or check.

Final Tour Payments There are no monies due between the deposit and the final payment. Final Payment must reach John Hall’s Alaska 90 days prior to tour departure date. If payment is not received on time, space may be released.

Re-booking will be subject to availability. Guests will be charged $35 USD per check that is submitted with insufficient funds. We will send final payment reminders to you two weeks before the due date.

If you intend to take out trip insurance, please do so before making your final payment.

Tour Cancellation If a cancellation is made in writing at least 90 days prior to departure, a full refund will be made, minus a 4% fee on any monies originally paid by credit card. For cancellations made less than 90 days prior to departure, the following per person charges apply: 60-90 days - 50% of total charges Inside of 60 days -100% of fare

Friends and Family Discount We offer a “Friends and Family” discount. If you get your friends or family to go with you and reserve multiple cabins, we pass savings on to the first 2 persons in each cabin! This discount may be retroactively applied, meaning you may book and if a friend or family member books after you do, we will go back and apply the discount to your account as well as theirs. Discounts are as follows: 2-3 Cabins = $50 per person; 4-7 Cabins = $100 per person; 8-11 Cabins = $150 per person
