PET ADOPTION

Heihei, our adventurous little munchkin, is 5-6 months old and totally up for ANY adventure! This little red speckled gal is as spunky and awkward as her Pixar twin! While she hasn’t explored the globe yet, her bravery and curiosity shine bright! She’s mastered the art of leash walking and following commands. In the blink of an eye, she’s transformed into a bone-afide pooch!

Little One is such a great cat, he is a favorite of our volunteers! Although he came to us as a stray, we think he is about 1 1/2 years old. He is a very sweet kitty who likes to be held and loves affection. He is a snuggle bug but is also curious and playful. Little One loves to perch in our catio and catch mice whenever he has the chance. He is very accepting of other cats; however, we don't know how he would be with dogs. This fella is an easy-going, happy boy who will steal your heart with his gentle nature. Swing by during our adoption hours and see for yourself!

Senior Spotlight

Charlie Girl was a rescue off the streets of Colorado Springs by Pikes Peak Humane Society. From there she was transferred to the Colorado Prison K9 Training Program where she was introduced to basic obedience commands. After adoption, our son Tyler continued her training. Charlie Girl and Tyler competed in and progressed through the 4H Dog Training Program, earning numerous top 10 placings in Showmanship, Obedience and Rally. With the help of Tyler, Charlie Girl also earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen title and AKC Rally Novice title. Outside of the competition ring, Charlie continues to enjoy swimming in both Blue Mesa and the local neighborhood pond. Now at 12 1/2 years and arthritis set in, she maintains her happy determined nature, enjoying tennis balls, floppy toys, soft beds and sirloin steak whenever possible.
