Exploring The Great Wall Of China For The First Time For the past 10 years I have been exploring different beautiful countries but one country that was still untouched was China. China is also the most beautiful country around the globe. And, today I am going to encounter The Great Wall Of China for the first time.

Hi Friends! My name is Alan Jones and I live in New York. Mostly, I love to be a solo traveler so I decided to travel to China alone. I was a bit nervous though as this was the first time that I am going on a long distance journey. To reach Beijing from New York it takes more than 1 day and 9 hours. That is really a long distance from New York.

I booked a hotel room online in China so that when I reach there I can rest for a while and then start exploring. After that, I started searching for an airline company that is excellent in customer service and came to know about United Airlines Reservations.

This was the first time I am going to use this flight so I did not know if they are good at their services or not. However, when I booked the flight ticket I was unable to know my flight status.

So, I connected to United Airlines Customer Service and they provided me with all the detailed information swiftly.

My flight date was on 9th Aug 2020. I was too excited to see The Great Wall Of China. I want to know everything about it.

When I landed in China I went to my hotel room that I booked and got some relaxation. After that, I had some chinese delicious meals that were too awesome and yummy.

Next Day, I headed towards The Great Wall Of China. When I reached there the sight seeing was alluring. Further, I got to know the historical background like when and why it was built.

So, Qin Shi Huang, who became China's first emperor in 221 BC, ordered to built this barrier so that he can expand his defences to protect from the invaders. The beauty of this place comes when there is a sunset. That time the view was so beautiful that I couldn't stop myself from taking pictures. Many tourists come here to walk on this wall.

Well, in one day I can only find a few of the historical things about this wall but want to know more like how long it is and how many bricks were used to build this wall and more. On the second day, I found all the answers to my questions that I wanted to know. I was astonished to know that the average height of this wall is 7.8m (25.6 feet).

At last, I am happy to explore this place and I know there must be other places to visit in China and I am going to explore each and every of them so that I can share with you.
