Employee Of The Month!
Andrew Baggett
BHT Manager
Andrew is a person in long-term recovery who joined the Alana team in November of 2022. Andrew has taken on the role of Behavioral Health Technician Manager. Andrew was born and raised in Douglasville, Ga. Andrew enjoys being outside in nature, golfing, hiking, snowboarding, playing sports, and fishing. Andrew started his journey working in healthcare at a Chiropractic Office in Douglasville, Ga where he eventually took in the role of Office Technician Manager. Andrew started his journey working in Addiction Recovery as the House Manager of a group of Sober living homes in Louisville, Ga. “When I was blessed with the opportunity to go to treatment, I was broken and had lost all hope. I had completely lost control of my life and I had destroyed all of the relationships that mattered to me most. By the grace of God, I was given the gift of desperation, and it was an employee working at the treatment center that gave me hope. This man helped me to see that if I completely surrendered my will and the outcome of my life to my Higher Power, I could truly experience peace. This was pivotal point in my life! This experience inspired me to pursue a career in recovery! I love seeing people in seemingly hopeless situations given a second chance, and it’s even more amazing to see people’s life completely restored by our creator.”

Alumni Advisor
d I am a person in long term recovery. My sobriety date is August 17, 2015 and I soon will be celebrating 9 years of freedom from my addiction. I have been working in the recovery field for 6 years now and dedicate myself to the service of all those who come after me. This drive to assist others came only after a span of more than 35 years of addiction to alcohol, meth and cocaine. It nearly took my life. I believe every client in recovery deserves every opportunity to be as happy and healthy as I have become , and I will never quit as long as there is someone in need. This was the grace and compassion that was so freely extended to me. For that, I am grateful. To have come from a life of drug addiction and alcoholism, to now representing a national organization that trusts me with their clients and reputation is an honor I cannot describe in words. It’s surreal. Promises changed the course of my entire future in just a few short months and I am looking forward to serving for years to come!
Thank you all for giving me the opportunity to share my experience.
