MUSIC, HORROR AND THE REALITY OF THE
HUMANITY
Phantom Carousel is a Costa Rican project formed in June 2020 by Alan Nox. It is characterized by making music within the EBM genres, with tendencies towards Darkwave, mixing dark sounds with nuances of
Costa Rican Folklore. Phantom Carousel’s musical style is based on a mixture of rhythms between Darkwave, House and electronic music, with a lot of influence on Post-Punk and Gothic Rock. Under the concept
of demonstrating the most terrifying side of nature and human emotions, with deep, moving and full of feeling music.
AUDIOVISUAL AND MUSICAL PRODUCTION
Ableton is a DAW (Digital Audio Workspace) which I use to create the music for this musical project, whose license is 100% legal and certified, to accredit all artistic material made with it.

The Panthom Carousel EP, AH1Z1, has 5 tracks and a video was made for the track Silent Ties, which both the music and the video were produced by me, showing my skills and experience in audiovisual production.

This production focuses on the Darkwave, with terror as the protagonist and a post-apocalyptic and dark concept, always hand in hand with the original idea of Phantom Carousel of showing the most negative and perverse side of the human being.

Music should be treated in two ways: as a business and with a passion for art, under a balance that should result in quality at an artistic level as well as having creative strategies that allow climbing steps in popularity and reaching the desired target audience. Dear reader As a designer and professional in the communication area, it is important for me to convey the quality and style of my work, I am a responsible person and dedicated to my profession, especially when it comes to meeting the demands of a changing market and that needs more attention to the target audience analysis processes and audiovisual solutions for social networks. In the same way, as a fan of art in general, the aesthetics and the solution of the advertising content that is developed for a client is always according to their demand, but giving that extra boost to what they need, I am not conformist nor do I stay without learning, every day I live in a changing environment and therefore the need to read and know my surroundings is vital to work.
