SWIM LESSONS

Hello to all returning and new members! We are excited to welcome you to another GREAT summer at the pool. I am pleased to announce that we will be offering 3 different types of swim lessons to our members this summer. The new additions are:

SWIMLESSON INFORMATION FORSUMMER2023

0 NEW Swim Clinics• These lessons would be best for swimmers with 1-2 years experience, who want to get some individualized training on technique and stamina. (This would be perfect for those swimmers who aren't quite ready for the swim test.) For these lessons, there will be a minimum of 3 swimmers and a max of 5 with a minimum of 2 weeks of instruction.

0 NEW Group Lessons • These lessons would be best for new to/beginner swimmers, who are still focusing on the survival skills of swimming, while showing emerging technique/stamina swimming skills but might do better with a partner of the same swimming ability with them. These lessons would need a minimum of 2 and a max of 4.

0 (RETURNING)-lndividual Private Lessons • These are our tried and true lessons that you are used to. These lessons are great for any swimmer with any level of ability. These lessons will give the 1-1 attention that your swimmer may need or that you are looking for. Regardless of age and ability, if specialized instruction is what you are looking for, then this type of lesson is what you are looking for.

The duration for lessons will remain at 30min, 45min, 60min. Pricing will vary based on the type of lesson you sign up for (clinic, group, individual) and will be discussed at sign up. We will have our 2 returning swim instructors Ms. Larkin and Ms. Ellie. We are hoping to add 1-2 more instructors to provide more availability to you all. Ms. Larkin

Bobby Smith was a staple at ACC as the IT / Procurement Director for many years. He started playing pickleball about 4 years ago and shortly thereafter had two knee surgeries which sidelined him for about a year. Bobby recently completed his pickleball certification through the Professional Pickleball Registry. He has coordinated clinics at the YMCA and Gibsonville Recreation Center. Bobby will be assisting Scott & Stefan with beginner & 3.0 clinics as well as some private lessons. We are excited to have Bobby part of the ACC Racquet Sports staff as our Assistant Pickleball I nstructor (aka Pickleball Wizard).
