EcoWASTE at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), IWS 2014 will serve up a high calibre of expert speakers from across the global water and wastewater industry. At least 77 global water experts from 19 countries will address water sustainability challenges at this year's summit, with more than 180 companies from 20 countries and pavilions from Italy, the Netherlands, the UK, France, Japan, Germany and the USA. Borja Blanco, senior VP of desalination at US-based Energy Recovery, said, “IWS 2014 is a must-attend event because it provides a forum for leaders and water professionals to cross-pollinate ideas and learn from each other. Being located at one of the epicentres of water scarcity, the event pays homage to the importance of water in our lives and for our global economy.” For the second year running, the International Desalination Association (IDA) will support IWS as the event's knowledge partner and has organised a number of sessions at the summit that will provide insights on the enhancement of energy efficiency within the desalination process.
