The 2020 presidential elections are anticipated to be the most important in the country's modern history, and one of the most popular in the last century. According to figures from the Pew Research Center, participation in this year's early voting has broken records, with voter enthusiasm manifesting itself in long lines in some places, and administrative errors in some states that have authorized voting by mail.

As of Saturday, more than 26 million people have j11voted, according to the U.S. Elections Project, a voter tracking database. That's more than six times the number of votes cast at the same point in 2016.
