Elysium, is a project about my search for freedom and happiness, away from the expectations of society. Acceptance and psychological well-being play a significant role in the story.
Elysium is a world of my own creation. A world where nature and magic are intertwined. It is a world where there is no prejudice and no hate. Reality is bleeding through to make the transition from dream to reality easier.
My hope is that my dreamscapes contribute to the psychological well-being of others, as the project has helped me find the peace I longed for. My philosophy is that art and culture has a large roll to play in the fostering of (mental) health and that we need to be more aware of the possibilities.
