This is a case study on the largest bus terminal in India , i.e. Kashmiri gate ISBT. It is also one of the oldest ISBT in the country. It will be a converted into an inter modal transit hub in future. This study focuses on the urban design and transportation of different modes. The segregation of inter-state, intercity and local buses is one of its key aspect in its designing. the segregation is highly achieved because of level difference , which the land already posses by its nature. The site is located on the plain of the river Yamuna which was contour at the time of construction.
