“STAR
STAYS”
POPSICLE LODGE|himalayan valleys
SKETCHUP|LUMION
This project was to design stay for tourists which is futuristic and functional. A self-referential structure that wouldn’t disrupt the natural biodiversity. While trekking, tents do not provide ultimate saftety against wild animals. Building a traditional guesthouse would disturb the immediate vegetation & wildlife. This design would solve both of these hitches
Solar energy will be harnessed. The round black roof helps to absorb heat from the sun n provide comfort in the cool himalayan weather.
A rope ladder will be thrown out for climbing up. It can be taken back inside.
Sound proof double walled fibre glass walls would go hand in hand with the aerial life not scaring the birds away. Steel is used for the popsicle column, frame structure & lattice. Steel frame structure & glass wall.
