Desired superpower: It would be super speed because sometimes I feel there just aren’t enough hours in the day. Guilty pleasure: Binge-watching reality television. Favorite part of my job: The sense of fulfillment that I have every single day in knowing that I am growing our family business. I am lucky enough to be a part of this third-generation family business and being able to wake up every day knowing that I am a part in the growth of that provides immeasurable joy. Philosophy of life: “You are the master of your own mindset. To piggyback off of that, I will quote Tony Robbins: ‘Life doesn’t happen to you, it happens for you.’” A leader I admire: My stepdad, Cadie Carter. He puts God first, next to his family, and that to me is the true meaning of a leader. His character, giving heart, and drive is exemplary bar none. I could only hope to be half of the business owner he is. Pet peeve: When people complain about things that they have full capability to change. You create the life you want to live; if you don’t like something, change it!
