Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of undergraduate subjects in Architecture and Planning.
The score is used/mandatory for admissions to postgraduate architecture and planning programmes (eg. M.Arch, M.Plan and Phd) in Indian higher education institutes with financial assistance provided by MHRD and other Government agencies. The score may also use by Public sector units for employment screening purposes.
