My name is Akanksha Srivastava, and I am an architect focused on innovative and sustainable designs. With a degree in Bachelor of Architecture from Arizona State University,
My design philosophy integrates functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability. Architecture should enhance the built environment while respecting the natural one. This belief has guided my work on projects like New Roots Remodel, where I utilized eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient solutions while designing a sustainable ecosystem.
I am passionate about creating spaces that positively impact the lives of their inhabitants and the community.

Oasis Housing Project
This project was done on the site on 10th stand Filmore St. This building is designed to create a community like an environment with in the Structure, making it a pleasant place to live while creating a place that seems safe from the outside, making it more comfortable to return home.
Library Craftopia
Thought out time a library has been a place where people learn new skills, most of the times it is in the from a story or from textbooks. This library is focused of teaching people crafts that are not as accessible to learn. The project was made into a oval shape with the entrance carved out to create a meeting space that merges the two main parts of the library, the self learning side and the group learning side, centered with a cafe for breaks and community gathering.

Biomimicry Pods
The structure is inspired by the Arizona native plant Velvet Mesquite. The project consists of 5 pods, 4 being meditation areas and 1 being a wind tower. The velvet Mesquite has adapted to the Arizona climate and has found a few ways to cool itself. A few of the methods it uses are, It has a large canopy to shade itself, Uses the water from its roots it cools itself, and 3rd it stores water. In this project, I mimicked those techniques to design a comfortable space for resting in cool air without the use of electricity.
EAST NORTH
Each side has different amounts of solid wall depending on how much light the side gets
There are 2 sections of the wind tower, 1st is for the wing to come in, and the other is for hot air to escape

Propeller to creating a vortex trapping more wind
