We keep on going with the snacks route as each Friday. We will go gout through Oliva’s streets in order to taste the delicacies offered by the local gastronomy professionals. You will find out why our city is stood out by its gastronomic wealth from which we offer a taste in our pubs and restaurants.

Guided visits through a Christian Village and Moorish Raval On Wednesday morning, you will be able to walk down the historic city centre streets of Oliva. In addition, each day from Monday to Saturday we recommend you to visit the “Mercat Municipal” (municipal market) for its building and quality products offered singularity.

In November, Tamarit’s Reading Group

Interesting activity based on a proposed book’s reading by a group of people who join every two weeks or monthly in order to comment and exchange opinions about the chapters read individually at home.

2 reading groups are formed: 1.Reading group “Novel•les de cine” (Cinema novels). Thursday at 18:00.

2.Reading group “Un món en negre” of crime novel (A world in black).

Exhibition: “Francisco Brines, apunte de viaje” The Ethnological Museum embraces a sample about the Oliva poet’s life and his play. Francisco Brines is currently considered one of the highest models of the Spanish literature.

The exhibition is organised by the Libraries’ Service and sponsored by the Culture’s Conselleria.

Route through the “Muntanyeta verda” (Little green mountain)

Guided route through the interior of one of the wettest, best conserved and the most important area in the peninsula. We will enjoy of the fen’s view and its different ecosystems, we will have a nice walk through the reed and, if we are lucky, we will enjoy of the water birds’ presence. Length: 3 hours.

16th november Pinet’s legend

Guided walk through Raval and Pinet’s neighbourhood in which legends will be told in located and important places. Funny book’s stories from Domènec Morell’s book “Dotzena I mitja de llegendes del Pinet” (A dozen and a half Pinet’s legends).

Meeting point: Tamarati’s library 19:30 h Santa Cecilia’s concert, AAMO Santa Cecilia’s concert in the care of the Artistic and musical association of Oliva. The timetable requires revision.

30th november Route through Xàbia’s peak. (Alicante)

Way up route to the Montgó’s peak by the Xàbia’s mountainside. It consists of the most direct climb that will let to enjoy of the landscape and the flora that accompanies us along the way up. Distance: 6 km. Difficulty: high.
