Oliva’s market is one of the most famous, well-known and important markets of Valencia. We can find all year long a wide variety of agricultural products and other items. In addition, each day from Monday to Saturday we recommend you to visit the “Mercat Municipal” (municipal market) for its building and quality products offered singularity.
Snacks route

We keep on going with the snacks route as each Friday. We will go out through Oliva’s streets in order to taste the delicacies offered by the local gastronomy professionals. You will find out why our city is stood out by its gastronomic wealth from which we offer a taste in our pubs and restaurants.

I Theatre Contest at Oliva’s Vila Theatre
For the first time Oliva embraces this amateur theatre contest. This way, we will able to enjoy of five shows in which different companies of our region will perform:
13th october
Saturday 12th October at 19:00h. “Lletraferits i Comediants de Gandia” group with the play: “El último rey” (The last King”). Friday 18th October at 22:00h. “Teatre Lliure de Paiporta” group with the play: “Polícitamenteincorrecto” (Politically incorrect) Saturday 19th October at 19:00h. “Fallers i Punt” (ACFBSF Oliva) group with the play: “Ella, Ellas y yo” (She, they and me) Thursday 24th October at 22:00h. Ramón Sanz group, “Falla Institut de Oliva” with the play: “Por delante y por detrás” (At the front, at the back) Saturday 26th October at 19:00h. Awards ceremony and the performance, out of the contest, of the play: “Metrosexual” by “Farfullit” group of the Theatre/Pego’s Theatre School. Tickets sale and season tickets at “Oficina de ServiciosCulturales” at Plaza del Ayuntamiento” 1, first floor. From 9:30h to 14:30h. In addition, at the tickets office the price is 3€ and the season ticket for all the shows is 8€.
III Trophy to the slowest sailing boat

We suggest you to get close to the “Club Náutico de Oliva” in order to attend to the III trophy to the slowest sailing boat, “Gran PremioParchís de Oro”. A peculiar regatta where is prized the sailing boat that cannot usually compete in other regattas. With a 6-mile itinerary, these display sailing boats offers a wonderful autumnal view at Oliva’s beaches. www.nauticoliva.es
