Chose bamboo for its eco-friendliness, durability, and non-porous surface that resists bacteria. Incorporated rubberized edges to protect countertops and prevent slipping during use.

Prototype Development: CAD models were created to test optimal dimensions for ergonomics and ease of use.

Iterated on designs for thickness and board weight to ensure stability without being too bulky.

Functionality

Multi-Board Capacity: Holds multiple cutting boards, making it ideal for busy kitchens.

Non-Slip Base: Equipped with rubber feet or non-slip pads to keep the stand stable and prevent sliding.

SENSOR: Smart bin is equipped with sensors that detect when the bin is full or when it needs cleaning. These sensors enable the bin to operate autonomously, triggering the cleaning process when necessary.

Design Process - Conceptual Sketch

Self-cleaning smart bins offer a convenient and efficient solution for waste management, helping to maintain cleanliness, reduce manual labor, and promote environmental sustainability.

MODES

Modes incorporated in the smart bin are Auto, Shrink, ON, OFF. The shrink mode is used to compress the waste inside the bin.

ALERTS

If there is unacceptable levels such as Full, Overload, Fire. It will alert through the LED screen and alarming system.

Final Design - Food Delivery Box

The box has a secure closure mechanism to prevent accidental openings during transit. Sturdy construction to prevent leaks or spills, and compartments to separate different types of food.

Box are designed to keep the food hot, fresh, and secure during transit. Also stable when placed in a vehicle, minimizing the risk of tipping over and spilling food.

Community Purpose Bus

The main goal of the design is to provide reelection of future of public transport. Comfortable and well-designed seats are crucial for a pleasant bus ride. Providing a smoother ride.
