Healthier, happier and more informed employees begin with Ajax’s Annual Health Screenings. The screenings were held in North Venice, Fort Myers and Tampa areas beginning in March 2018.

Ajax again provided on-site screenings to conduct the assessments for our employees’ convenience. However, 2018 marked a new chapter in promoting health/wellness at our annual health events for our employees and their spouses. For the first time, an on-site workplace mobile clinic from National Diagnostic Services was provided to conduct these health screenings and improve our employees’ experience. Employees were able to call or go on-line to set up appointments prior to arrival of the Heart Mobile. The friendly and courteous health staff assisted patients with scheduling, sending reminders, and streamlining the process. The Annual Health Screening included: Biometrics screening (Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides, Glucose), Waist Circumference, BMI, Blood Pressure and Nicotine Test.

Best of all, employees were able to get their results on the same day and receive a consultation with a medical doctor to discuss their individual health concerns in a confidential manner. We encourage our employees to take advantage of the wellness screenings provided as part of Ajax’ insurance benefit package. Prevention is the key to our own personal wellness journey.

Our goal for 2019 is to extend the time available for our employees and their spouses to make their preventative health screenings a priority beginning in late January 2019. We look forward to the return of the Heart Mobile in order to provide valuable health information to our most important asset our employees!
