AIS Outdoor Cinema is back with a bang, featuring the iconic Bollywood blockbuster Sholay! Accompanied by a pre-film DJ set, live dance and a special Sholay themed street food menu.

Heart of the Nation

Saturday 22nd July, 11-4pm, drop in. Open to all, free to attend.

At Leicester Museum and Art Gallery - Produced by the Migration Museum, this exhibition shares the stories of people who have migrated to Britain over the past 75 years and worked in the NHS. Join us for a family friendly art workshop, creating visual symbols that explore what the NHS, care, wellbeing and journeys means to you.

Celebrating his latest album Immigrants, along with tracks from his forthcoming album Identity, the internationally acclaimed Nitin Sawhney is headlining this year’s festival.

Exodus – Theatre – from 2-3pm - Rehearsal Room 2 - Book your free tickets in advance via Curve website. Exodus has been inspired by oral histories of the Ugandan Exodus. This event is a script reading sharing extracts of the play, followed by a Q&A.

Who Am I? – Family Friendly Art Workshops – From 115pm - Mezzanine - Free Activity - Drop In

Using natural materials such as clay and spices, we’ll explore our roots and culture to create a community pop up exhibition, working with artists Shamila Chady, Sim Mystry and Ismail Khokon.

Mehndi – From 12-5pm - Green Room Cafe- Free- Drop In Henna designs painted on your hands

Yoga & Wellbeing

Yoga with Live Sitar & Tabla – from 11am-12.30pmRehearsal Room 3 - Book tickets via Curve website. A fusion of Indian classical music and gentle yoga with Geeta Pendse, Harkiran Sahota and Akash Parekar. For 16 years plus.

Space for Stillness – 1-6pm – Free – drop in

A quiet retreat to take a pause within, offering calm music and a place to rest.
