Beyond the limits
When the advantages of the multimodulus technology meets perfect tapers a new standard in the rod industry is reached. The new Airrus Ultra is designed combining the Airrus Magma Polyacrylonitrile Technology and the Multimodulus blank, but we managed to reduce the rod weight by 10% using a lighter carbon fiber in the prepreg. The action of each Ultra model was carefully tuned by mixing the rod taper and on the high-modulus carbon fiber composition used in each rod. To achieve faster actions with a softer tip, designed for high sensitivity and total lure control, we created progressive curves in the middle section of each blank and a stout backbone, with almost zero deformation, for a highly effective hook set and extra-long casts. The final result is a rod with a better fighting ability and a blank which gets stiffer as the load increases.

MODEL LIST Construction and components: The handle is made of a harder grade EVA, assembled with less glue and without internal spacers for improved sensitivity. The guides wrapped on the Ultra series are the Fuji FazLite, with anti-tangle frames. Airrus was the first brand, industry wide, to use these guides over a year ago. The Ultra is assembled using L.A.B.S. components, custom made metal parts, laser engraved winding checks and hoods designed by Airrus. MODEL LIST Construction and components: To obtain these results we used a hybrid solid tip, developed from the V-Torsion tip of our flagship rod the X-Entity, which allows the rod to have a never before seen “nimble” action in the tip section. This tip has a very low thermic expansion, saving it from breakage caused by a cold climate. It has an uncommon elastically soft action that doesn’t allow the fish to “feel” the rod weight during the bite. We used our Airrus Red to make the tip more visible in low light situations, and help the angler with bite perception. The blank is constructed with Multimodulous Radial Matrix carbon fiber technology, having different modules on different positions of the blank. The Zero is powered by X-Concept, an extremely researched ergonomics, with the goal of creating a more balanced, comfortable and lighter rod. The guide system, powered by Fuji, is based on a semi-micro hybrid design to obtain greater sensitivity, lower prolific weight and ease the passage of knots.
