When art meets science
Each year, science faculty member Trish Ortiz assigns a project called ‘Tell Me a Story.’ Her Anatomy and Physiology students are asked to write and illustrate a children’s book about bone remodeling, geared to a specific age range (10 and under) chosen by the authors. Wonderful creations ensue and the students enjoy mixing their artistic talents with their science knowledge.
Here is one example, written and illustrated by Dasha Herrington '22 and entitled "Bone Remodeling with Froggy Frog."
