The Drogheda International Classical Music Series recommenced in 2012 and gave Drogheda audiences a chance to see and hear a wide variety of classical performances including pianist Finghin Collins and cellist Marc Coppey, the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Singers and local violinist Tadhg Murphy. Thanks to the generous support of the Arts Council, Louth County Council Arts Office, RTÉ lyric fm and Droichead Arts Centre the 2013/14 Series will feature artists from home and abroad which we hope will appeal to a wide audience. We would like to thank Gillian Sheils, Rev. Graham, the Vestry of St Peter’s Church of Ireland and the Board of Droichead Arts Centre for allowing us the use of their venues. Finally, we are delighted to introduce some new features this season including pre-concert talks, children and student tickets and the opportunity to purchase a full season ticket for just €70. We hope that you enjoy the music we have programmed and look forward to seeing you.
