A multidisciplinary Mid/ Senior Interior Designer with experience in industry as well as teaching at BCU as Visiting Lecturer. Worked across many sectors, including high-end residential, leisure and education, specialising in workplace, hospitality and retail. Have had the opportunity to work on projects from conception and client briefing through to design development and detailing, whilst adding a fresh conceptual approach to generating new solutions. Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Vray, Enscape, Adobe PS, InDesign and Revit. Committed and passionate to the design industry demonstrating my passion for the industry further by mentoring junior employees.

Participating in the design process involved in the refurbishment and construction of highend residential, Grade II listed buildings, public, leisure and commercial projects. Producing technical surveys, designing interior spatial layouts, colour schemes, electrical layouts, and specifying fabrics and FF&E. Producing photorealistic CGI, rendered plans, mood boards and presentation packages. Responsible for branding and visual merchandising for various clients. Acting as Project Manager for the ‘Green rooms’ at Birmingham Hippodrome.

Collaborating in the production and submission of tender packages for projects related to the University of Birmingham. Assisting in client meetings and presentations.

by Graham Powell for the Birmingham City University at the ‘Interiors UK 2014’ show at the NEC. Value engineered student designs to test structural stability and cost effectiveness of the ideas which were then incorporated into the stand.
