AIME MENTOR 4 LIFE PROGRAM July 1 2013 - June 30 2014 www.aimementoring.com

What is the M4L Program? ! ! ! !

For the first time ever AIME has managed to bottle the magic formula from their mentoring program that has seen such astounding results over the last 9 years for Indigenous kids, and fuse it into a 12-month individual mentoring program that can be used by anyone in the world.

AIME is committed to unlocking the limitless potential that resides within us all so it can be unleashed on the world. We have proven our ability to achieve remarkable results and individual transformations on a massive scale across Australia with one of the most disengaged cohorts going around. Instead of keeping the secret recipe we are sharing our knowledge, experience and tools so that your staff, the people in your organisation, can have a pathway laid down for them so they can finally reach for that dream that has always rested on the horizon.

This program will make a huge impact in the professional development space in Australia and around the world, as a resource for staff growth, for athletes, dancers, actors and musicians to build positive support networks around them and relationships for life after their time in the sun. It’s a program for Universities and residential colleges looking to build Australia’s future leaders, and for anyone in the general public who is desperate to strive for more in their life.

There are only 3,000 positions available in the program for 2013.

So how does it work? After you sign up your staff, how do they get involved? Step by Step Guide: 1. Jodie Blogs heads to the AIME website to sign up to be a part of M4L, she enters her details. 2. AIME says, ‘Whoa, well done on getting through stage one Jodie ya legend, now it’s time to enter stage 2, the recruitment of your mentor.” AIME then explains to Jodie that she has to go and recruit her own mentor from her extended network – we explain that her mentor can not be a friend, a work colleague or a family member, and that she will have to learn two key lessons in the process of recruiting her mentor: o the first is to be resourceful and creative with tapping into the networks around her o the second is the power of asking for help and guidance.

All of us can always learn more. We will provide Jodie with a template email, and some tips and hints along the recruitment process. We encourage partners to help be creative with supporting the sourcing of mentors for staff who struggle at this stage. Note. In the 2014 M4L program, all 3,000 people who complete the program will be asked if they would like to have their profile on AIME’s M4L Mentor section in 2014 so they can be contacted by people who are looking for a mentor and struggling to source one from their extended network… You will only be able to be an official M4L mentor if you have been through the program as a mentee… Walk the talk ya’ll. 3. Once Jodie has recruited her mentor, she heads back to the AIME website, and enters in both her and her mentors details. She then enters her code that has been given to her by her employer (We will give all partners a number of codes for their staff who are sponsored to do the program). 4. Then Jodie and her mentor will have their training emailed out to them (and it will be in mad interactive AIME styles…) 5. Jodie will have the key component of the program The Mentoring Journal mailed out to her. The Journal is a diary/program book/resource toolkit/journal with more features than a Swiss army knife. 6.

July 1 = Program begins

Jodie and her mentor will meet once a month from July to December (6 times in total) for 2-hour sessions. Then Jodie will work independently between January to May 2014, before she reconnects for the final session with her mentor in July 2014. Over the course of the 12 months she will explore, learn and engage with the following topics: • • • • • • • • • •

My Values, Purpose, Who I am and Where I want to be History, wisdom and mistakes Building the foundations for strong relationships My energy and the team around me Negotiation Resilience and Success Inspiration Planning, habits and process New worlds and imagining the unseen Reflection

Lego Man has already signed up, what are you waiting for! 7. Jodie finishes the program in June 2014 feeling like a more complete, focused, balanced and driven individual who understands her purpose, sources of energy and inspiration. She also has some of the tools needed to navigate the challenges that may lie ahead. For you Twitter fans she will officially be a #Legend. 8. AIME will administer all of the communication and training for the mentor and mentee respectively over the course of the 12-month program.

So here’s the kicker, it only costs $100 per participant AND all the funds raised from the M4L Program will go back into AIME to help us get out there and work with more Indigenous kids to see them finish school at the same rate as every Australian child. Did someone say win win win? ! AND… for 2013 we are going to throw in a special offer of an exclusive 2013 National Hoodie Day (NHD) Hoodie for every person that does the M4L program this year. Your staff and your company can still celebrate NHD with AIME and be involved in the photo competition as we share with the world the power of mentoring and the message of Indigenous Success.

Sir Richard Branson will be joining our CEO Jack Manning Bancroft in Adelaide to launch the program on May 8 and we are expecting a serious amount of press. We would love to have all of our partners who have been with us in the past signed up to be a part of the M4L Program so we can send a resounding message that the leaders of the business community, and the leaders of the next generation are standing hand in hand committed to unleash the human potential that lays within us all.
