Esports, often known as electronic sports, is a type of video game competition. It frequently takes the shape of organised, multiplayer video game competitions, especially amongst professional players competing solo or in teams. 2017 (Hamari & Sjöblom). Esports (or electronic sports) refers to computer, video, or console gaming at a competitive level. A more detailed definition was recently introduced: eSports is “a form of sport in which electronic technologies facilitate the primary components of the sport; the input of teams and players and the output of the eSports system are mediated through human-computer interfaces” (Hamari & Sjöblom, 2017, p. 5). Real-time strategy, first-person shooter, multiplayer online battle arena, racing, sports games, and fighting games are some of the most popular individual and team-based game genres for eSports (Olsen, 2015).
The era of technological advancement is becoming a norm in this 21st century which shows that Esports is here to stay for the coming years. It is predicted that the number of Esports gamers and enthusiasts worldwide will exceed three billion by 2023 (Newzoo, 2021). In 2019 alone, Malaysia created a revenue of RM2.7 billion from the gaming industry which makes Malaysia one of the largest gaming market in Southeast Asia. However, the Esports sector in Malaysia is still not developed despite having such a promising return of investment.
ESC : Malaysia’s First Centre For Esports Development And Performance in Kuala Lumpur acts as the pioneer of Esports in Malaysia. The idea of the building is, it acts as a one stop centre, to introduce a new type of sports to the public, by providing an academic wing for newcomers to learn on how to join the Esports industry. Whereas, the arena wing focuses more towards public participations where games, tournaments, and events are being held for the masses. The proposed site of the project is located non other than Sports City Bukit Jalil where all the pioneers of sports are introduced here.

Esports, A New Rising Economic Sector
Pudu, once an “Electronic Haven” for consumers has now been ripped off its title. Seeing the electronic businesses go down due to no succesor of ownership causes undocumented immigrants hired by locals to gain the upper hand and start dominating the economy. This causes unease to the locals there, especially the youths who doesnt want to work and live in Pudu. Immigrants dominating, and youths leaving causes further deterioration of the electronic businesses in Pudu.
In order to make “Pudu Great Again”, we must attract the local youths back as they are the future generation who will be inheriting Pudu. How do we do that? The answer is E-Sports!
This golden opportunity must be grabbed and grasped in our hands as the E-Sports sector creates a ‘gold mine’ for economic domination and also career opportunities for the youths. Knowing that youths are highly intrigued and passionate about games and E-Sports, does not mean that they all want to become proffesional gamers, but in fact, they each have their own interest in a specific sector from E-Sports such as, game developers, content creators, pc builders and more.
The aim is to create an Integrated E-Sports Ecosystem which acts as a One Stop Infra for E-Sports enthusiasts and for the growth of career opportunities. By creating this Ecosystem in Pudu, youths will return to Pudu and start dominating the economy there because of the burning passion in pursuing their career for the E-Sports Sector.
As the youth returns, hence the businesses there will be owned and managed by the youths as they open E-Sports related stores and hubs.
Pudu transforms from being an Electronic Haven, to an “E-Sports Ecosystem”, pioneering the E-Sports economy for Malaysia and also South East Asia. Hence, “Pudu Becomes Great Again”

Issues: The economy at Pudu used to be dominated by chinese locals. But generations has passed, and electronic stores had to close down due to no succesors because the younger generation are leaving Pudu as they dont want to work and live here. Hence, immigrants are employed to manage the electronic stores making them start to dominate the businesses.

Kuala Terengganu has many tourist attractions that are able to attract people and visitors from all over the country. Hence, it is vital to be able to design an urban setting, fit for the locations in Kuala Terengganu not jsut for the present, but for the futures that lie ahead.
The site located is at Pantai Batu Burok, at the open park beside the aquatic centre. There exists a large open field where visitors do not facilitate in activities that require the necessary usage of the large open park. This is because, the field is meant to act as a green space amidst an urban area, but lack of facilities which encourage people to the park causes the park to deteriorate in value.
Having culutral amenities and spaces in a park will contribute to a community’s sense of place. This is because parks play a critical role in providing cultural opportunties to local residents as well as attracting visitors. Active transportation suc as walking and cyclig is becoming more prevalent and urban parks systems play a major role in maintaining the momentum of this trend by providing desirable routes of travel.
The focus of this design is to utilise the open spaces of the site in order to create an urban park that acts as a pedestrian connector between surroundings, a place of communal interaction, and also as a multipurpose open area where locals and visitors can enjoy both cultural and modern activities.

The aim is to utilise the open spaces of the site in order to create an urban park that acts as a pedestrian connector between surroundings, a place of communal interaction, and also as a multipurpose open area where locals and visitors can enjoy both cultural and modern activities.
The concept is derived from several theories which are as follows; Roles of Urban Parks + Parks as Lungs of Cities + Human Well Being = GREEN LUNGS
The proposed Islamic Assisted Living Centre is located in Matuzici, Bosnia. It caters the elderly in the region of Matuzici where the concept focuses more towards modern and simplicity. The building is divided into three parts which is the Assisted Living centre, the hotel, and the sports complex. A courtyard in the middle of it all acts as the beating heart of the centre where residents and visitors can enjoy an open area where they are able to do outdoor exercises, gardening and more.
The proposed Al Munawwarahh Assisted Living centre is located at Bukit Damansara. The concept tries to resemble a forest in the sky by the usage of pocket gardens on each floors which creates voids and openings to make a more breathable building. The spaces focuses towards a community engaging living where it has rehab centres, open gymnasiums for the public, swimming pools and also, an integrated ‘Sekolah Agama’
The National Academy for Drone Sports Excellence is set to be Malaysia’s first drone sports activity hub, located in Paya Besar, Pahang. The drone academy features a drone racing track and will play host to internationally federated drone sports event .

It offers a motorsports clubhouse dedicated with a full course racetrack and the supporting facilities of pit garage, grandstand, gallery, clubhouse lounge and more. The private bungalow is located at Bentong where the project is in the construction phase. The client requested to have a modern, yet simplicity type of design with double volumes and large openings to embrace the surrounding nature.
The proposed residential housing is located a Bukit Raja Klang. It consists of a 2 storey terrace house with a large back yard and also a single storey terrace house for residents to chose from.
The private bungalow was designed to suit a modern architecture approach where the roofs are visually splitted into two parts to allow for a less bulkier design.
