Playhouse is a space for kids under 12. It specializes for kids who are deaf and mute. This space is not only a playhouse but a learning area too. Seeing how the hearing and visibially impaired kids don't get opportunities like eveyone else, this space is specially designed for them where they get to learn basic numbers and alphabets by doing tasks in each cabin. Kids without these disabilities also get to learn so they may communicate with their peers.
WITHOUT A DOUBT, THIS SEMESTER WAS VERY DIFFICULT. ASSIGNMENTS COMING SOON AFTER ANOTHER MADE IT A LITTLE OVERWHELMING AT FIRST. BUT I WAS ABLE TO SUCCEED THANKS TO THE CONSTANT INSTRUCTION AND PERSISTENCE OF OUR TEACHERS. THE GROUP PROJECT WAS BOTH BOTH ENTERTAINING AND CHALLENGING. WORKING WITH MY GROUP AND GETTING TO KNOW THEM BETTER WAS SOMETHING I REALLY ENJOYED. SINCE I DIDN'T HAVE MUCH BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE ON THE SDGS, EXPLORING THE MANY TYPES OF SDGS GOALS WAS ALSO VERY ILLUMINATING. NONETHELESS, THIS SEMESTER TAUGHT ME A LOT, ESPECIALLY ABOUT MAINTAINING A WORK-LIFE BALANCE. I ALSO BECAME CLOSER TO MY PEERS THROUGH THE PIN-UPS BECAUSE IT WAS A LOT OF FUN TO DO THEM.
