A SUSTAINABLE CULTURE & CAMPUS

Aiglon is taking concrete action to develop sustainable infrastructure in buildings and in organisational practice. Through student learning and student-led community summits we are also supporting our community of change-makers to take action for a healthy future.

MEDITATION

Our long tradition of meditation brings the school together for a reflection from a student or teacher. This thought for the day inspires dialogue and defines our culture.

TRIPS

For culture, adventure or service our trips offer the chance to visit European capitals or distant jungles. We study art, serve locals and reflect on being global citizens.

SERVICE

A founding member of Round Square, service is fundamental. From community service week to global trips, we encourage all Aiglonians to think and live beyond themselves.

NOT-FOR-PROFIT CULTURE

As a community-owned school, Aiglon is unique among its peers. Our not-for-profit status ensures that everyone, from the Board to the football coach, has one priority: student experience. It just means we have a responsibility to reinvest our operational surplus into the school, for the benefit of our students today and to ensure a strong future. Thanks to the bequest of our Founder, John Corlette, the school is wholly owned and overseen by a non-profit association, the Aiglon College Association (ACA).

SAFEGUARDING & WELLBEING

A robust approach to wellbeing is integrated into our student life as well as our curriculum. The school’s counsellor team supports student mental health and we understand safeguarding within a community-focused culture.

INSPIRING CREATIVITY

Students can be involved in the arts through academic programmes or co-curricular activities. We have those who go on to study artistic courses at top institutions and many others who simply enjoy creative expression for years to come.

MANCHESTER CITY FOOTBALL SCHOOL LINDSEY VONN - SKI AMBASSADOR

Aiglon has partnered with Manchester City Football Club to provide a world leading football programme that aims to develop our students as people and as footballers. The Manchester City Football School is not only focused on delivering coaching, but alongside the school’s ethos, this partnership provides lessons in nutrition, health and wellbeing, mindset and leadership. Aiglon’s dedicated Manchester City coach is trained in a holistic approach and delivers this to students on and off the pitch.

COMPETITIVE SPORT TEAMS

This one-of-a-kind collaboration with Lindsey Vonn, Olympic champion alpine skier, offers every Aiglonian the opportunity for a world-class skiing education. Ms Vonn will consult on Aiglon’s high-performance athletes and sport innovation programme and help to further develop our ski programme. Whether a student has never put on skis or is already an accomplished ski racer, Lindsey Vonn as Aiglon’s ski ambassador will help all of our students reach their full potential as well-rounded skiers.

Aiglon competes in a variety of sports in Switzerland and in Europe. We compete in major team sports, including football, basketball and volleyball, as well as individual sports, including tennis, golf and badminton.
