18b The Las Vegas Arts District was named by a past AIGA Las Vegas member. The identity, brand book and some concepts for downtown signage were arranged through a city connection, a former AIGA Las Vegas President and several past board members.
This sample and many other noteworthy design pieces are currently archived at UNLV under the preservation of Historical Documents. Since its establishment in 1997, AIGA Las Vegas has been hosting prestigious awards shows, previously known as ‘Peep Shows,’ where the entries proudly exhibit some of the most exceptional designs from the past three decades. Each of these remarkable designs has earned its place in the UNLV archives.
The work showcases our great city’s history through design and our communities creativity.
Our chapter played a vital role in Las Vegas’s historical artistic community culture. Our members and supporters have made countless decisions for their work and businesses to ignite this city and continue to make us a vital place of inspiration and collaboration.
We celebrate that you have joined us to take part in this rich cultural history. Helping all of us to connect, collaborate and expand our businesses more efficiently and effectively.

The most asked question our Board gets is why do you donate your time and even your companies resources, connections and at times assets to your local chapter? What value do we get from AIGA?
Everyones answer will be uniquely different from their perspective. Because the more I show up to the events, engage with the speakers or AIGALV Members the more is gained in knoweledge and deep understanding in the areas I am focused at that time. AIGA’s lifeblood is what we as a chapter do with this valuable time and how we share our insights to a community that changes and grows each day.
The legacy of ourselves is based upon the knowledge and experience we pass on to others.
There are hundreds of reasons and value points of being an AIGA Member, we highlighted some key values below
How much do we pay to find qualified employees in our field?
Contacts in other cities/states? How much would you pay to search out new clients or businesses in another state?
As a student how much would you invest for a review of your portfolio?
As a student how much would you invest for a solid lead or connection in the industry?
As a Design Instructor how much would you invest for over 30 years of educational information?
As a business owner, how much would you invest to learn about how larger agencies manage their growth and challenges?
As a company how much would you invest in a business coach or lecture to provide inspiration or knowledge to your team?
The community of AIGA which has an enormous online platform with like-minded creatives like yourself, that have like-minded challenges and real time solutions that can be applied to your growth and your business success.
How much would you pay for those insights?
