I'm Dana-Maria Pondichie, I’m from Romania--where I was an AIESEC member at Bucharest for 1 year.
Incoming Trainees
At the present I am a trainee at ABN AMRO in Antwerp, Diamond Department, and I enjoy this new experience at maximum: I started my internship at the beginning of this year, on 2nd of January, but I arrived in Antwerp on 30th of December 2007. Why do I mention that? Because for me it was a really pleasant surprise to be received in such a welcoming atmosphere by the AIESEC students here in Antwerp: to keep it shortly, I got familiarized with living here in only a few days, as they found accommodation for me and I had everything needed from the beginning! Thanks Birgit and AIESEC UA. To keep it shortly, it's been already 4 wonderful months that I would describe, in a few words like this: • • •

learning every day -living in another city is considered a challenge, but for me it is not such a cultural difference, so I focused on self development and learning -for instance learning a new language, Nederlands :) very nice colleagues at work, international team -really helpful and pleasant atmosphere at the job very diverse and rich social life - I consider an unique opportunity to be an AIESEC trainee and to enjoy life in such an international environment ! So many trips, visits to museums, cities in Belgium, The Netherlands for instance networking is one of the most valuable things for me, and here I had the chance to meet so many trainees, people from around the world
In one sentence, for me this internship is : Enjoying Antwerp every day, build a valuable network, travel as much as I can, growing both personally and professionaly, living the most of this unique eXperience THANKS
