What advice would you offer to aspiring architects aiming to follow in your footsteps?

Cultivate a sense of curiosity and consistently seek to discern the underlying rationale behind each undertaking. While there may be a temptation to focus solely on the limits of the task at hand, aiming for efficient completion, it is crucial not to regard expediency as the ultimate goal. Endeavor always to grasp the bigger picture, understanding the overarching logic and project objectives associated with the given task.
Could you share with us some of your most challenging architectural endeavors and what you learned from them?
The first time I worked on multiple projects under construction and design simultaneously for the same client brought about its fair share of challenges, but also provided opportunities for immense growth. From staffing to scheduling logistics and tracking changes to apply to the next group of projects, it taught me how to communicate more effectively, importance of staying hyper organized, and how to work through solutions as a cohesive team with both the contractor and client. Working on the construction administration of a project strengthened my understanding for design and ultimately makes me a more wellrounded architect and designer. captivating architectural forms and spaces with the pragmatic considerations of the client. I regularly share this project with my students and mentees as a framework for design thinking. It underscores the intricate dance between utility and form, elucidating how functional imperatives can intricately inform the aesthetic manifestation of architectural design.
How do you anticipate the architectural landscape transforming over the next 10 years?
