Dear Friends,
It is becoming more and more common to use genomic information for selecting your bulls, for the new generation of milking cows. Despite that, it is always interesting to see when milking daughters of a bull influence the breeding value of this specific bull. For this proofrun, that is the case; several AI Total bulls presented themselves with offspring. And we are convinced! Without any exception, all these new recruits in the group of progeny tested bulls have confirmed their genomic testing figures.
During the NRM 2017, last June, we were already able to select a promotion group from the bulls Broeks Tapic and Broeks Tychip, of which the first number of offspring entered the milking barns. Without knowing any test results from the offspring at that time, they made great impression to the visitors. Two months later, the impressive appearance got confirmed by receiving official data in their proofs.
It is always important to look back, knowing you are moving forward into the right direction. The results of the progeny tested bulls give a huge trust to the young bulls who entered our portfolio. Young bulls who bring their genetic potential to a next level.

Broeks TAPIC and Broeks TYCHIP, who both showed a successful promotion group during the NRM 2017, now confirm their proofs with milking daughters. TYCHIP can even be named as best udder improver in the Dutch top index. Champion King ELSON also knows how to impress; each index run, daughters are added to his proof and ELSON rises to a higher level. Glamour CARLO debuts with +2444 TPI as a proven bull. With high components and great fertility, CARLO is extremely suitable to use at commercial farms. Last but definite not least, we’d like to mention Gold-N-Oaks RR ARBELL and JK EDER CIDERMAN; both bulls show of with their extreme high production figures.
DG NICKSON is the ultimate representative of AI Total’s Total Package; lots of milk, high components, great health traits, fits perfect on your heifers and has decent type without faults. NICKSON is easy to use; a bull you don’t want to miss! CAROLLA, LEE, BANGALORE (sexed available) and CHARAS all upgraded their high GTPI figures. CHARAS is a true health specialist. He is the only bull in the breed with semen available that is over +2600 GTPI combined with over +9 for PL, a DPR of +3 and over 1.50 PTAT and BELOW 5% for sire calving ease. CHARAS completes this with -0,97 for stature.
