Pick up supplies at the Kids’ World Desk or request to pick them up at the drive-up window or bookmobile by contacting kids@ahml.info or 847-392-0100.
Join your fellow Tween Advisory Group members at the Makerplace to celebrate a year’s worth of accomplishments, make something and enjoy a few treats. Meet outside on the front lawn. In case of inclement weather, meet in the Creative Arts space in the Makerplace basement. All participants must complete a Makerplace Waiver in advance of the program.

Celebrate graduating into teen life by checking out all that the Hub has to offer, including crafts and games. For teens entering seventh and eighth grades in the fall.

Join our tween book club for an afternoon of discussion, activities and snacks. Pick up a copy of the book at the Kids’ World Desk. Grades 4–6.

An Arlington Heights Park District instructor will lead this introductory class covering basic stretches and postures. Bring your own mat, blanket or towel. Presented in partnership with Arlington Heights Park District. This event is weather permitting. In the case of inclement weather, this class will be relocated to the Hendrickson Room (June) or Cardinal Room (August) in the library. Grades 4–12.
